Backed up user’s files, stopped bad services and startups, reinstalled Nvidia chipset drivers. Computer now works.

Apparently the 680i has RAID trouble with certain BIOS revisions and chipset storage drivers. It’s mainly a false positive error that causes the Nvidia RAID service to freak out and start causing all sorts of problems.
It’s working (now) so hopefully my troubles are over.

I’m not trying to make excuses for the teacher, her actions were far from making any sense, but I’m sure there’s more to the story than what’s being told. She may have tried to handle it in other ways, such sides to this type of story are often omitted to spicen the outrage.
There are some tricks to make Vista 32bit use more than 4GB of ram but you have to be 1337 to do it.
32-bit OSes will READ all 4GB but it won’t be able to use it. The amount of physical ram your Vista can use will be:
4GB – (Video memory) = Max amount RAM useable
Autistic kids don’t need to be in regular programs, end of story. The kid’s parents set him up for this and they’re mostly to blame. The administration should have filtered him out as well so it’s partly their fault.
I have all the sympathy in the world for the family because autism is terrible but they have special programs just for this sort of disorder and the kid should be in one.

At least they didn’t try to push this off as a real level in the game. It annoys me to no end the amount of people who claim a level “autoplays”.
Btw, search for mario paint songs on youtube. Some of them are quite good.

Falcon, you might try cleaning the computer, placing emphasis on third party addons. I see 3 things in the picture alone that set off alarms in my mind.

If they were to move them the fees associated with hosting a LAN would probably double to account for the extra labor. A LAN there would probably require us to use the tables that are already there and those wouldn’t support many at all considering the majority of them are round tables. You’d end up with a cabling nightmare and they are extremely touchy about letting people in outside their normal operating hours so setup would be a problem. They don’t even like IT being in there when they aren’t.
Also keep in mind that the Cat’s Den isn’t set up for network activity the way the UC is so that might be a problem. Also, as I’ve said before, kitchen equipment typically uses a different power socket than the powerbox the UC gives us so you’d need to verify that before doing any further planning on this front.
Liam has diabled the high ping kicker until he can fix it. Since there’s usually an admin on it shouldn’t be a major problem.

The one thing that gives an autosniper pause is hearing an AWP where they were about to peek out and start autosniping.
I really don’t want to restrict both because it would set a precedent to restrict them on all maps. I can’t say I won’t do it but it would take some hellacious forum voting to make me do it.
Let’s see if one AWP per team helps, if it hasn’t normalized after a day or two I’ll toy with other options.

Ok, looking at the votes it’s obvious people want at least 1 AWP per team. I’m going to go ahead and call this one and add 1 per team back. If that brightens spirits I might try 2 but since the majority want 1 we’ll stick with that for now.
