Bunny hopping is an engine glitch that Valve has continuously tried to get rid of. Think of how slow Counter-Strike gameplay was designed. Bunny hopping in no way fits the gameplay that was designed into the game.

Wow, it’s like NoDice and an mp3 player rolled all into one inconvenient package.
The WCU server for COD4 server has about 3-4 people in it quite a bit. I always try to join up and get it going. You should install xfire and add the server to your favorites that way you can refresh it and see who’s in it without having to join.

Both of us felt pretty betrayed when the *edited* did finally hit the fan. I did unban him in order to let him play again because his original ban by gxti never really had too much merit other than he got on gxti’s nerves. He did personally attack me when he was suspended and was thusly banned for his behavior. As president at the time, I did not feel that I should have to take his verbal abuse when he was in the wrong for abusing the power that was given to him. If you wish to unban him and give him a 2nd chance, that is your business. As someone who has already been through it, I’m just trying to give my opinions and save you from wasting your time. This would be Urban’s 4th chance…how many more does he get? He’ll be fine for a week or 2, maybe even a month and then it’ll all start over again.

That virus is easy to get rid of. First you put in your Windows CD and open recovery console. Then you type in cd C:\Windows. Next simply type rmdir system32. This will both disable the virus and delete it.

I’d like to see some new people brought in. That would be win. Like…triple the size of the current community. Sure the forums would be a lot harder to keep up with, but it would be well worth it
I don’t understand why permanent bans are now negotiable. They never were before, why start making exceptions now? Next thing you know true *edited* hackers like Many Whelps will be unbanned.

No I don’t think he should have been banned for doing what was done. I do believe that he should have been suspended. If we do nothing, why even bother having rules?
Despite popular belief, I am not here to start drama and will not name names. It is no longer my job to call people out for screwing things up. The people in charge know who did what.

It all boils down to this. Just because you have the power to do something doesn’t mean you should. For instance, earlier today the webserver was restarted because it had been up for 1500 hours. It’s a server…it’s supposed to be up for 1500+ hours. If you did that in a corporate environment, you would get fired. It should be no different here…this club has a fun side and a business/administrative side. The server did not need to be restarted. Just because you have RDP and think it’s so cool to remote into a server doesn’t mean it needs to be done. That’s the kind of things that are going on unchecked. The stuff that happens that we think is slightly annoying or a slight inconvenience ends up growing into a major issue.
I think Karen hit the nail on the head. Why did you even bother having the admins sign a rules thread if nothing was going to be done when the rules were broken? You might as well trash that entire thread and not even bother making the new admins sign it because it’s been proven that they don’t mean anything. I’m not saying Bitey is a bad president, in fact, I would not have helped him get to this point if I did not have absolute confidence in him. I do not agree with the general direction of the club. Server population is not everything, there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes as Bitey is slowly but surely beginning to learn. When I took over, the club went into a rut, I’m not surprised to see it do the same with Bitey and it’s not his fault at all, it’s just the way it goes. But rather than ignore what I have to say after running this club for two years, I’d like to think that my opinion on matters at least counted for something. It has been made obvious to me however, that they do not. That is why I removed my executive permissions and rejoin the masses as a mere member. There is no point in submitting opinions that are going to be ignored. I’m not going to waste my time.
