no you don’t have to pay for fileplanet, if you scroll to the bottom of the page, you should see the free servers
HOWEVER, it should be noted that as with most Sierra games, you can probably play it on a LAN w/o a key which means that we could host it campus only. If there really is interest in it anyways.

hmmm…quake 3 would be good too BUT a lot of people who have cs also have tf from the half life package and steam
Haha Street Fighter Turbo=sweetness. Original Playstation isn’t as classic as like Sega or SNES, but an original Tekken tourney would be fascinating.
We actually had a rule in my group of friends that played that no one could be Oddjob cause he’s such a cheater being all tiny and all.

might try the dhcp, that would explain the ip problems too…i’m still getting ip conflicts in windoze and my ping in warrock is still 150+, is the cs server still messed up? it may be having ip conflicts as well
dunno, just do a search for goldeneye 007 abandonware…i think i saw something about a half-life or a quake3 mod of Goldeneye 007…anybody know whatever became of that?
My Xbox Live connection was always up and down last year (Fall and Spring semesters)…I dunno what the deal is, it was mostly Halo2 as well
No problem, and it was cool to meet you for a brief 13 seconds even under such crappy circumstances. So far no IP conflicts today, but I haven’t been at the machine much either.
Man I remember when this computer was the shiznit, with it’s 256 MB nvidia card. Then I found out my RAM timings are 3559 and that the gpu has a 350 mhz clock…shesh…I need to build a new one…what do you guys think of the Athlon 64 x2? I think that’s what my new comp is going to run on, I can’t stand Intel. I could send you my entire config if you’re interested enough to give me suggestions…it would probably help out a lot…I’ve been building for over 5 years, but I learn new stuff about it everyday..and other people’s experience always beats the ‘specifications’.
You technically could create a server for it, but it wouldn’t be dedicated, you’d have to launch the game and create a room and keep reloading it everytime the game finished. Which means that WCU’s server would actually be an afk character in game…probably not the best of ideas…but it’s a beta, maybe the’ll patch that in sometime, that would totally rock…
On War Rock…it might be their server…I tried to log onto CS1.6 but apparently my version is not so up to date. So I dunno if it’s me or warrock.
