Specifically our CoD4 and TF2 servers need to be populated. (Which isn’t really new news).
Just thought I’d start a thread here and pray that people actually post real ideas.
My idea tonight was to blatantly advertise our new servers on our populated servers. Also, when you’ve played sauce for way too long and want a change of pace invite a bunch of people over to our CoD4 or TF2 server and have some fun!
If you don’t like something about the CoD4 or TF2 servers make a post and let us know! We want to setup the new servers so that our community enjoys them.
Just some ideas.

The idea of advertising our servers on all our other servers is already being implemented at this time, thanks for the other input though
.I’d like to see some new people brought in. That would be win. Like…triple the size of the current community. Sure the forums would be a lot harder to keep up with, but it would be well worth it

so would i, what do you think the best way to get new people to add to our community
We need an active bunch of local people to constantly populate a new type of game server that will in turn attract new players. While they are on the server invite them to our forums and make them feel like they are part of a community (which would be more of a truth that just a feeling).
Thats pretty much how we populated CS/CS:S. If we want any of our servers successful we have to get a community around the game that will frequent the forums.

. I think out of all my polls I’ve seen maybe 10 people vote. 
Our forum could be a little intimidating to new users. There are so many good posts spread out over a ton of forums that it is hard to efficiently find them, especially for a new user. We should have a casual Forum at the top of the page (maybe the random forum?) that we frequently use to post whatever we want. I say put it at the top so that new users see it and read it. There are normally a lot of good posts thrown in there that get missed mainly because people don’t realize it is down there. Just an idea. Basically a forum that is amusing and shows the more casual, ‘fun’ side of our community.
Anywho, back to work!

Good ideas here; we should have set times where everyone joins the TF2 / COD4 server every week like everyone join TF2 at 9:00 on tuesdays and everyone join cod4 at 9:00 thursdays or something like that? The only way I can ever get ppl to join toe TF2 server is by spamming IRC and steam friends -.-
Seriously, I’ll be on t3h server if it has people on it now that grimmy sent my cod4 copy back to me ^^

I play alot of cod4, i alsways check wcu servers 1st, but they are alsways empty.
aww, i can’t make it tues @ 9:00… I’ll be at works.. maybe recommend both of them at the same time both days?
