Survey ideas for the LAN

It has been decided that we are going to make a survey to pass out at this next LAN that way we can see what people really want instead of what we officers assume they want.

 

If you have any ideas at all for the survey questions please let me know!

 

And please this is serious we really want to know what it is we can do to improve our LAN events.

It would probably be a good idea to include something along the lines of “Would you be interested in seeing a PS3-related tournament at the LANs?” in preporation for the next “you guys are teh b iased” hissy fit.

yes i was deff going to add something about ps3 because of that… and i am going to ask about all the other games as well i do believe

Dice I think for space purposes we want the answers to be able to be rated like:

 

was it, really bad……bad……dont care…..good…..really good.

 

something like that, when people have to write you get stupid answers most of the time, but I dunno, maybe one question like that might be good.

I’ve noticed that people are much more willing to circle pre-defined answers than think up their own, especially when they are preoccupied like they will be at the LAN. Keep the free responce to one or two questions or you might need a paper recycling bin too

In my major i have done several pilot study’s.

i dont mind helping out and making the questions into the Likert scale.

also be sure to phrase the question to avoid suggesting bias…. this is one of the hardest parts.

 

this way we can collect and conduct a good analysis of teh data

They are going to circle the cheapest amount, guaranteed. Since most gamer shirts sell for around $15 this is probably what we need to sell ours for but a question about the desirability to buy a shirt is definately a good idea.

I would like to see some booze inmplemented, because no lan, or any social function for that matter is complete with out some boozing.

alright here is what i say,

 

I am not here to change anything i am merely making this thing up so that people that do not normally come to our meetings or cant come to our meetings have a say in what goes on in the one event that they do come to and that they pay to come to..

 

Now i want to have questions… not comments, not concerns, not any meaningless stuff that i have to filter.

 

Questions please… (and no offense to some, its just been a long day and i dont want people assuming im trying to change anything)
