I can make a banner if no one else can, I have photoshop 7 and illustrator cs, just tell me what you want and i’ll make it.
I’ll tell you in about 2 hours when I get out of work. So far the steam platform launches okay, you can see it running in my task bar. It forgot my password at first, but now it’s not prompting for it anymore.

It’s pretty easy, just upload the image to somewhere like webshots or photobucket or a webpage and then type this into the forum reply box:

‹img src=’imagelink.jpg’›‹/img› where ‘imagelink.jpg’ is where ever you uploaded the image to the web, so it would probably look something like ‘http://www.blah.com/image.jpg’
so i may have figured out part of the reason people were leaving…evidently there was no time limit on the server, which has now been fixed, so no more infinite 2fort matches
Word of advice from someone who had a 43-4 clan, don’t hold tryouts. Just watch people in the server and invite the players you think would benefit you. It works WAY better that way. The ‘tryout’ clans never draw any real talent and those are the ones who get owned in a good clan match.
Okay, so April 1999 was the first year for TFC and CS, as Half Life expansions included with the game as patched version 1.0.0.9. I bought my disc in April of 1999. Holy crap, I have one of the first discs with those games included as expansions. Does that make my Half Life CD worth 10,000 bucks?
It doesn’t necessarily mean you were one of the first 1000 on cs. It means you are one of the first 1000 to switch to steam. Many many moons ago, when cs,tfc were the ONLY two mods for HL that came with, you had to connect thru in game server list (kinda like the one hey have now but way different). Back then you had to connect using a WONID instead of a steam id. I bet I was one of the first 10,000 people to get the game, since I have a version 1.0.0.9 disc made by Sierra instead of Valve, back in 1998 or 1999, whenever it was.
