Why are we making such a big fuss over this? The tournaments are currently run under the rules and guidelines of other tournaments ran for the game. SSBM, Halo, etc are played at a level that certain people call techniques, tactics, etc an exploit. There are PLENTY of exploits in BOTH games that are classified as cheating and NOT allowed. I realize that we aren’t MLG, we aren’t a HUGE player base tournament, and that we don’t need to follow guidelines and rules from other tournaments and leagues to a T, but they are the bar and they are the ones that typically set the rules for tournaments.
All of this discussion is because two people who don’t exactly play the game competitively are complaining because people who do play the game competitively are better than them and use techniques and tactics that other people view as “cheap” and then subsequently point as “exploits”.
Wavedashing is quite possibly the ONLY technique that can be viewed as an exploit, it wasn’t meant to be part of the game but it also isn’t a huge gameplay change.
Yep, as soon as Toshiba announced their exit of the HD-DVD market I knew it was over. Blu-ray was superb and superior in every aspect anyways.

I am now 50/50 on going as well. Just depends on if someone actually hires me in this town, ride, etc. Plus I’m broke.

Yes because we all know that gambling is still illegal in NC and any such form of it being done is NOT allowed or supported by the Gaming Club and WCU.

Not saying I wouldn’t play with you. I have a 51 Warrior and a 20 Hunter as well on AM, just saying my main is on AM and can supply bags, etc to anyone.

I have one and I picked up Children of Mana just recently over the holidays though I haven’t played it yet as I am too busy playing FF12 and Zelda for the DS. I need to pick up one of those memory cards or whatever though so I can stop buying games, haha.
Come to the lan and play it and see if anyone else is playing it or wants to play it and if there is enough interest, it can be a possibility.
