Inferno is a good and balanced map, well designed and played in leagues. I don’t believe we should be removing it from the list. Most people will only want to play Dust, Dust2, Aztec, Office, etc all the time because that is a common map that everyone plays 24/7. There are plenty other maps provided by Valve but they typically tend to be EXTREMELY one-sided, so everyone chooses the maps they feel to be fair and balanced. Perhaps we could also add some custom maps onto the server for *edited*s and giggles every once in a while but not including them into the rotation. I believe we need to enable map voting at the end of the time per map as well as allow people to start map voting via “rockthevote” or something similar so that if a map gets stuck on something the general mass doesn’t want to play then they can change it to something more enjoyable. I wouldn’t mind seeing maps such as de_cpl_fire or something added but I’m not exactly holding my breath for it to be added, much less played a lot

I used IRC years and years ago ;P. I’ve used scripts such as mIRC, Demon, etc.. I just don’t like it too much and never have. But meh ;P
Agreed the main point is to keep the majority happy, I was not arguing for or against the banning of the Auto’s, I was just stating some points and opinions
. People are always going to whine about weapons, if it isn’t the auto it’ll be the AWP, etc.
Well who’s going to mistake the server for something other than CS:S? Maybe if you’re filtering for both CS and CS:S, but >_>. If you’re wanting to play a specific game then typically you filter out the rest and only search for the one

Well if you toss out [No DWP] and maybe even CS:S then you could re-add it
While I agree that the game is completely different when one is scrimming or in a match, one has to start out somewhere. If someone in a scrim is using the autosniper against you, how are you going to react if you’ve never encountered a person using the autosniper in a PuB to begin with? While yes, it does “balance” the game out a bit one has to learn somewhere.
Agreed, it should default back to a more popular map so that the server fills back up. To be honest no one really gets excited to play Havana or some random map like that.
If you’re going to ban the autosniper from CT’s, you might as well ban the autosniper T side as well
.Frankly I’m tired of seeing people moan and groan about the autosniper and AWP. If you can’t avoid them or hide from them then you shouldn’t be complaining to begin with. If you’re ever going to become better at the game you have to learn to use every weapon as well as kill those using them as well. Although they may seem “cheap” and “easy” to use, stop QQ’ing and just deal with it. You’ll see me QQ’ing tons about the Krieg/Bullpup but I just bite my tongue and deal with it.
