I can understand why they chose new characters. This is going to have a better storyline connecting the 5 campaigns. Plus there’s not always a rescue vehicle. So that’s kinda interesting.
Well the daylight factor is going to have an effect.. meaning the witches won’t sit around and cry. They’ll be wandering around in the day time. Plus they said it’d be a mix of things.
As far as I can tell, they’re not changing everything, they’re adding a few new special infected, only one mentioned thus far is the Charger. Also, they’ve changed the crescendo moments. So, one switch will start a swarm, and you’ll have to battle to another checkpoint, etc to stop the swarm. Or, they mentioned a whole street filled with cars with car alarms… So, yeah.
I like the addition of melee weapons. That’s gonna be fun and interesting. Plus I like the sheer fact that the map layouts will change as well as you’re playing. That’ll be fun.
From the looks of it, they’re implementing new mechanics to get the true feel they were going for. No more sitting in the corner and riding out hordes all the time. Release date is Nov ’09.
Well.. I just got accepted into H2O and now an official member of the PMS|H2O L4D Division. And of course, I had to go back to what was good… so I r t3h Oh Malley once again.
..Honestly, if you only have 2 gigs of ram and VISTA… just sit there and look at the pretty desktop. And then go work for the extra $30 for the extra two Gigs of ram.
Agreed. Granted, I mean the odds of it happening like that are lame.. But yeah.. that system, sandbagging was definitely involved. Go back to old.

Meh. You guys used maps. What sensible man uses a map? It’s like reading the instruction manual. Simply unheard of.
Yay. I must find a way to hook it up to my computer monitor. That or sanction my TV for a period to play SMW.
Upon entering main campus, you’ll enter a traffic circle. Exit on the left side of circle. Continue up hill. Bear right around the brick building (if you go straight, you’ll end up in the village [Greek houses]). That building is the Bookstore. The next building on your right is the University Center (UC), which is where the LAN will be. Park where ever you can behind the building. Enter the third floor of the UC (top floor). The Grand room will be straight ahead. Can’t miss it.

So yeah. >,> Countdown to the end of my days at WCU. I hope I did well during my term here and I hope to be a resource for those in the future. I do plan on serving as one of many Alumni Advisors. If I can anyways. As long as I have an internet connection or a cell phone, I’ll be reachable for sure.
As for the rest of my life, better buckle down and figure out where I’m headed. Looks like I’ll be headed back to A-town for a month, and then from there.. who knows? I’ll still be in NC for awhile.. as far as which region/area. I have no idea.
There’ll be plenty more. Plus from the sounds of it, we may have peeps holding their own LANs during the summer. That would be win. Especially if I’m holding one or I get an invite to one. The first isn’t likely at this point.
