This thread is for things about WCU you love, hate, or some degree of emotion inbetween.
I just wanted to know what other people thought of the college.
I personaly love it.
Small: Teachers are personal, and you can walk to each class within a reasonable amount of time.
Beautiful: I love the mountans almost as much as the ocean.
But there is one thing that I REALLY hate about WCU.
Whenever I need it, the WCU site is always down, it never fails.
Other than that, I love WCU.
WCU was “okay”. I really prefer community college to the CIS department at WCU. I actually learn things here at WTCC. People probably won’t laugh at my degree.
I’m not voting since I’m not a student there, but of all the things to leave out, you forgot chocolate milk.

You’ll probably learn more but will still end up without any certs to back the degree up. Hence why all CS/CIS departments are made of fail.

People probably won’t laugh at my degree.you will have learned more technical stuff and will be better off in a more technical role, but with an associates degree you can pretty much kiss goodbye the chance at ever having a managerial-type position. I will have to go with kip that even though its from WCU, a 4 year degree is worth more than a 2 year degree anyday. And yeah, either way you need the certs to get anywhere.

The food has been terrible for 3 years now, it’s not getting any better without some drastic change in how Bardo allots contract money because Aramark isn’t the problem. They have contracts with other schools that have insanely good food.
Honestly, the food may be better, but the meal plans will probably be outrageously expensive, but not in proportion to how much they’ll mark up the food. You’ll still be running out of DB if you eat on a regular basis on campus.
