That was before. I don’t think you can do it anymore. I guess we will see though.

Day of defeat source is an FPS that is team-based and a valve game. Its like a WWII mix of TF2 and CSS. No variety there sir. You must have it confused with some other game.

Anyone can assume already what one of the reasons is, as its been the reason why we haven’t had UT2K4 at any of the past lans (well, at least the past 6 lans or so), and the other is: are those who do not have the game going to be able to install and join it anyways? We were able to install UT2k4 before… DOD:S doesn’t work anymore cause valve fixed that glitch with the “offline mode” thing so if they don’t own DOD:S, they can’t play. If they don’t own UT2K4, they still can.

I think if we select 4 team captons (and these being ppl that know the game and the players at western). it will split the better players up and the better runner up players up and each team will have a noob or 2.
last time we randomized teams but made sure that the 4 “best” players weren’t on the same team…

I see no reason why we couldn’t allow it as its now a part of the game. Kinda sucks tho for those who didn’t unlock the new stuff. At the same time I think we will do like we did before and do a limit of 1 per class so no team should really be at much of a disadvantage.
and in which case I think UT2k4 deserves the nod because its deathmatch and its nice to not play 3 valve games.

I believe the top 4-5 PC games, top 5-7 console games; the # of console games will be up to the console prez and console VP; the PC ppl will decide how many games we can do. We usually have time for 4 definite games with 1 throwaway game that we schedule at the very beginning but cancel if people/networking are not ready in time.
