Participantsweet, thanks for getting that up in a jiffie and congrats to all the new guys elected.
Have a question/s:
- How many of the voted PC/Consul games are going to be played at the lan?
- And was their any disscussion about advertizing via napkin dispensers in UC and Doston?
- Any word on local sponcers? C.D. , Nexes, or E3
- Any word on server upgrade

1. All the remaining people voted on the console and pc games. The votes each game got is by their name; the games with the most votes will be played.
2. No, we ran out of time
3. See above
4. Waiting for an e-mail from networking to get the process moved forward.

Participanti understand the numbers are the votes, but are we taking the top ___ # of votes?
AKA: how many pc games are we playing at the lan, how many consul games are being played? assuming we arnt playing all 10 PC games and all 18 consul games.
September 3, 2008 at 10:48 am #55177Wanted
ParticipantMan, I wish I could have been there. I had to go to a recital in Coulter. Ill definitely be at the LAN though. Im pretty stoked.

I believe the top 4-5 PC games, top 5-7 console games; the # of console games will be up to the console prez and console VP; the PC ppl will decide how many games we can do. We usually have time for 4 definite games with 1 throwaway game that we schedule at the very beginning but cancel if people/networking are not ready in time.
September 3, 2008 at 11:14 am #55182Cacophony
ParticipantAs far as local sponsors go, if you are interested in approaching the Nexus again I’d be willing to chat them up. I usually end up there at least once a week or once every two weeks.
September 3, 2008 at 12:49 pm #55192Fascist Flakes (Jagr)
ParticipantSounds great guys! Would’ve been there if you hadn’t scheduled it over an already existing event 3.
Also, its Castle Crashers and not Crusaders
.September 3, 2008 at 2:10 pm #55212ExiLe
Participantsoo when will the rules and settings be worked out about the tourney?
September 3, 2008 at 2:21 pm #55215lootool

How do I possibly reserve a spot..?? or do I just fuerst kum first serv type deal? or do we fight to the deth??? LooT.
September 3, 2008 at 3:14 pm #55222Oh Malley
ParticipantWe’re doing the top 5 console games. So I think there’s a tie for that fifth spot. I’m sure Shingi and Kaz-Ka will make some sort of official announcement soon.
Oh yeah.. don’t forget Bitey’s Madden-esque comment. “It’s the people going in that fills up the room.”
September 3, 2008 at 4:27 pm #55231Poopie

Ephriam if you would list which games won after the list of the votes Id appreciate it.I edited the minutes to include winners, but it may be inaccurate, as I don’t know how many PC tournies we will have. Let me know if something is screwed up.

Participantand in which case I think UT2k4 deserves the nod because its deathmatch and its nice to not play 3 valve games.
EDIT: Last 2 posts have been approved by DeviantSyntax. See minutes for updated game lineup.

ParticipantI’ll at least be able to play Team Fortress 2.
Which means I’ll need to practice. And actually bother to update it…
And we’ll probably need to discuss whether we’ll be allowing all that new fangled stuff in or not.

I see no reason why we couldn’t allow it as its now a part of the game. Kinda sucks tho for those who didn’t unlock the new stuff. At the same time I think we will do like we did before and do a limit of 1 per class so no team should really be at much of a disadvantage.
