I would have told someone that was going had I known the game was going to be on the chopping block!

I realize that I wasn’t at the last meeting, but why did we close the COD2 server? I guess I am the only one on campus who has the game and enjoys playing it online now and again? And CZ… come on that is seriously the same game as 1.6, we definitely don’t need both of those.

I really think it would be better to do something like jazzman said; have at most about 4 pc tournaments but have them be longer or something; Run a tourny in CS:S, UT2k4, DOD:S, and CS and be done with it, all the while have console tournys

I like Company of Heroes a lot and it runs like a dream on my computer. Currently though my favorite RTS is Battle for Middle Earth II, which is actually using the C&C engine so I guess I would probably like that too

I realize this is kinda an old post but I have been busy this break

Anyway, if you haven’t already bought a laptop, I will out and suggest the same laptop I have, dell’s e1705

If you get the upgraded graphics (nvidia 7900gs), this thing really packs a punch. A quick look at dell’s outlet (dell.com/outlet) shows several of these with 2gb ram, a 7900gs, 120gb hdd, and 2ghz+ core 2 duo processors for under $1500 (these all come with upgradable 1yr warrantys).

[Nickname]

Are we going to have another meeting to like actually get the date for the next lan set and also vote on a game to play?

[Nickname]
