Alltalk voting is a bad idea and, as recently complained about, doesn’t work in Source.
You have the option to custom vote and the option to turn alltalk on. Maybe allow admins to turn alltalk on and off and make them put up a custom vote before doing it. Idk how AMX works so that may not even be possible.

The only thing he needs to play TF2 is a CD key. When you activate the CD key it starts downloading the game from the Steam server.
It’s not like the DVD being bad would actually prevent gameplay.

You know why you can’t find a non-biased source? Because no one cares. There are many translations of The Bible, each with their own little nuances and only a handful of versions have actually been translated without any government or political influence.
If they want to create a version they think is truer, why does it really matter? It’ll be sold as a seperate version and do well or fail on it’s own merits. If churches feel it has more in common with their church’s teachings, beliefs, and constitutions then they’ll read from it, if not they’ll ignore it.
Go read some of the proposed changes. They’re not nearly as bad as you’d think.
It’s not a problem Kaz-ka but we have the capacity to get a somewhat decent server going and there’s plenty of experienced admins and server ops around for him to learn from.
If nothing else this would be a great learning opportunity for him to learn how servers work and to play around with a professionally hosted one at the club’s expense.
I think we’re really blowing this out of proportion. I can count on one hand the number of people that have issues with our rules on this.
Or politely ask him to start being active in the club. He’s an officer, he needs to at least be active on the forums.
The same could be said with all the new on-campus PC execs. Tbh I haven’t seen any of them in any of the servers and it’s getting to be a little disheartening. So much trash is talked about how the old group doesn’t represent the club anymore yet we’re the only ones still being active on a daily/weekly/sofarthisyear basis.
He does because I’ve given him CL access with it. Beyond that idk what he’s been doing. I haven’t had any requests for help or training from him.

Being tied to the university means we have to hold ourselves to a higher standard.
If it is as you say and you’re never a problem when you won’t be punished.
You know you cross the line in some ways but typically catch yourself about halfway across it and quickly jump back. What we’d like to see happen is you not go anywhere near the line.
You don’t have to download it to play games but you have to have the new version before you can use the shop channel.
Also, to install the updated homebrew stuff you don’t have to upgrade to the new system menu.
Why didn’t they have achievements in the movie?
Survived for 20 minutes in a zombie movie should definately be an achievement IMO.
Anyone else notice Youtube doesn’t buffer video anymore? On the above videos it pauses like every 10 seconds to buffer more.
Inb4 Your connection sucks, it doesn’t.
Also, I recommend everyone using the homebrew channel go install the latest versions of everything using the new Hackmii installer.
Homebrew Channel 1.0.5 is MUCH faster than previous versions and can mount/unmount SD/SDHC/USB/Gecko drives on the fly without restarting. It also seems to pull an IP address faster than it used to but that could just be my imagination.

Bannerbomb: Use Bannerbomb v2, Smash Stack, or Indiana Pwns
Bootmii: Use HackMii installer v0.5 to (re)install.
Homebrew Channel: Use HackMii installer v0.5 to (re)install. HBC 1.0.5 will not be removed by the 4.2 update.
cIOS: Just reinstall.
Preloader: Wait for an update (if Crediar chooses to update it).
DVDx: Use HackMii installer v0.5 to (re)install. DVDX 2.0 will not be removed by the 4.2 update.
The really sad part about this is that Nintendo really got lazy while coding this. Since so much is done in this update, many are finding that their Wii freezes part of the way through the update. Unfortunately for some, just like with the XBOX360 update last month, if the freeze or error occurs while it’s writing to a critical part of the firmware it will brick your console. The vast majority of Wiis bricked by this update had never even had homebrew run on them.
Even the new bootcode is so buggy that the updated homebrew bootloader isn’t even based on Nintendo’s code anymore. They wrote their own.
With this update completely negated by the homebrew community in less than 36 hours I imagine Nintendo will either get extremely crafty with their next update or simply quit trying.
Liam was able to coax the database into cooperating.

Hey I’m just glad I took the 5 minutes to back the database up, otherwise you’d have stats back up but they’d have been reset.
