Reserved 24/7, but hey they need to be consistent, no one parks there on the weekends except people who aren’t supposed to anyways, the point is they haven’t started ticketing until just now.

They just started ticketing for parking in the reserved spots a few weeks ago. The service vehicle, dean, librarian, chancelor, etc spots are ticketed by the NORMAL police now so assume they will be checked every hour or so for violators.

Yeah sorry about that Ephraim, I got one as well, and dice they have started ticketing on the weekends mostly because the RD in Central is being a super-ultra-mega-*edited* and calling every night cause someone parks in the little mini-lot beside central.

You mean the one marked “No Parking”?

Don’t get me wrong I fully understand that I need to play more but this is just a bad time for everyone. Next week won’t be much better either with federal jury duty. Eventually I’m going to get freetime and should be able to play every day.

I hadn’t planned on posting in this but a defense on some of this is warranted.

I know he’s been playing a lot lately. Just need to continue playing. :-P)

How long does this need to occur before the “he doesn’t ever play” stigma go away? I’ve given about 10 hrs a week and that’s about as much as you can expect from me given the time of the school year it is. As for the time before that I just wasn’t making the time due to other commitments in RL. I ask that you judge my activity based on what you’ve seen lately as now I’m actually making an effort to play.

Dice, I believe that meets your requirements. As for the other stuff, I have posted demos for a potential ban and so far have gotten almost no feedback on them. It seems pointless to ask if I would take the time to watch demos considering the fact I’m the only one to post any in the past month. It takes 10 minutes to go through the forums, to stay active in the game it takes 2-4 hours. As stated above, that’s just not something you’re going to get from an EE this time of the school year.

Why are you bothering with the default windows driver to begin with?

in reply to: Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical #45503

hidusb.sys is the default Windows driver for ALL USB keyboard/mouse/joystick/gamepad devices. Deleting it is not advisable but if you want to screw things up by all means continue to delete things out of the System32 folder. When Windows itself is putting files back after you delete them that means you’re doing something wrong.

I would like to assume you’ve installed the correct drivers for your mouse but you didn’t say you did. Download and install the intellipoint drivers from here:

    http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouseand…d/download.mspx

If that doesn’t fix it, scan your core Windows files to ensure they are not corrupt.

Go to Start->Run. Type “SFC /scannow” and hit ok. This will take some time.

More to follow if it doesn’t help.

You can’t get more out of audio than you started with. Increases in quality are in your imagination only.

VLC will play literally anything you throw at it. Playing oddball formats and corrupted/normally-unplayable videos more than makes up for any quality sacrifice. As I said before, it should never be used as a primary player.

Canada doesn’t have Wal-Marts and as we all know Wal-Marts are required for a group of buildings to be called a town or city. Therefore, by simple logic, Canada doesn’t have any towns or cities. Continuing down this path, it also known that areas without towns or cities nearby are known as being “in the middle of nowhere”. Thereby making the entire country a “middle of nowhere”.

So after winning you STILL have to watch out for enemies. IMO this is absolutely retarded and if it can be fixed there is no reason for it not to be fixed. Just because a few people want more kills is no reason to *edited* everyone else off.

Btw, the last time it happened to me I came VERY close to banning the person who did it. I would think it would be common decency to NOT shoot the people who just helped you win but I guess that’s a foreign concept.

For those who wish to silence Chantz, he lives in Halifax. I would say he lives in the middle of f.ing nowhere but that would be too vague as it describes Canada as a whole.

Most autokick games have this problem and it’s directly related to how long your computer “hangs” while loading the map. BF2 had this problem so bad that most admin plugins default to a 1-2 minute grace period. The problem is that slower computers can’t maintain their connection to server and load the map at the same time, thus the less intensive is dropped for the more intensive.

The reason you don’t get kicked on your 2nd attempt to join is because your computer already has most of the map files in memory and it takes less work to get it reloaded.

i personally wouldn’t go for the in-game irc… i liked that option in UT2k4 but that was a whole separate thing in-game. if IRC starts getting throughput in the regular chat in one of the half-life based games, that’s going to be a ridiculous amount of stuff passing through the conversation window and you won’t be able to keep up

Not to mention Liam’s bot will get banned. Again.

It’s hit and miss. You’re not supposed to be able to but for some you can. Also depends on planetary alignments.

The LANs were seperated by closet due to viruses that were able to spread over network shares. It didn’t help against the massive rinbot outbreak but several others were isolated so they decided to keep the policy.

I have to admit it was quite funny sitting in one of the Belk labs in a lecture and watching as the computers caught rinbot one by one. You don’t really respect the power of these types of malware until you’re sitting in a room full of IRC drones.

If you get a 8800GTS make sure you get a G92 version or else all benefits over the 8800GT are lost.

The 9000 series isn’t worth the money at this point. They are only marginally faster and are priced much higher. I think the 9800GX2 is only 15% faster than the 8800 Ultra. Wait for the 9900s which will be on the G92b core and have a 55nm process.

    Bitey needs to call Stephen.

It’s not a port issue as there are very few ports blocked on the admin virtual network. Besides, ITS has its own email system on the same network and I can still access it and send emails through it like normal.

The XBOX Live ports shouldn’t be blocked. The problem is that each datacloset acts as its own LAN so people in Leatherwood can’t play with people in Benton as they appear to the XBOX as 2 different networks. People in Reynolds north can’t play with people in Reynolds south, even though they are 100 feet away from each other. It’s just the way Networking chose to set things up.
