High pings won’t no, but if you get several people in there with wacked out rates it can affect server.
Seriously, check you rates. Nothing about the server has changed, in fact since school is out the pings should have dropped.

I REALLY like my XFX motherboard but I think eVGA’s boards are almost identical.
Use AVG, it’s free version is of much higher quality than most of the other free AV programs on the market.
If you backed anything up, make sure that you have a functional and updated AV running before you even access the drive those files are on.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, most of the people I’ve played in CAL are sketchy at best so brag it up.
I do believe ASU’s prize team at the last LAN was CAL and yeah, they were extremely sketchy.

Since we didn’t vote in a CL to make these sort of decisions they need to be run by the community first and public opinion listened to.

Though I would like to mention that Kuros noticed something and I think it was more than coincidence: XFX and EVGA products are IDENTICAL. They are probably made by the same manufacturer. Must be a good one too since both companies offer lifetime warranties!They may now but when Iwas specing video cards they didn’t on the 8800s. They really could considering how long their cards last.
XFX has been around much longer than eVGA. I think the reason they both do well is because they don’t screw with features they know already work. MSI and PNY have a very bad habit of screwing around with things and as such most gamers don’t buy from them.
I know they aren’t the same company but they may be using the same board schematics.

They only input devices MS has been known to make well is joysticks. Beyond that I wouldn’t buy any hardware from them. PC, console, or media center.
Best Buy had them for $25 on Black Friday. That would be a great time to buy prizes for the LANs if you want to go that route. They usually have quite a few big titles for half price.
