Correction, I will NOT be resigning this semester as planned. We’ll see about rerunning next semester though.

It is not supposed to grab the best player or worse player from the teams. It supposed to grab someone in the middle by my request, otherwise the over powered team just flipflops to the otherside after a few rounds. It’s complicated exactly how I had Liam set it up, so we won’t go into that. Just know that it’s a constantly evolving plugin and *edited*ing about it doesn’t fix it. Since I keep getting PMs everytime I log on, I’ll let you guys know what’s up so you don’t worry quite as much. My wife (whom almost all my campus peeps already know) is pregnant with our first. We are having a hard time finding a proper place to live around campus and she’s having a less than perfect pregnancy right now. She kinda needs me at her side, so that’s where I am going to be. I know the Club really needs a president with the faculty advisor leaving and a LAN that is less than a month away, but I have my priorities and they should be obvious. Until today, I didn’t even know if WCU was where I was going to be this week. I’ve been shuffling around looking at school in Hickory up until yesterday, all while having the most physically abusive full time job I could find. Most of you will see the weight difference since last semester when you see me this one. Peg and I made the decision to stay at Western last night.
I hope you guys understand things a bit more clearly. I’m a jumbled up mess and I need to get rid of as much stress as possible. While I do e-heart the hell out of this club, it’s highly stressful on the one running it.

As of right now, I will be returning to the whee. I’ve given Facist Flakes executive permissions on the website and he is studying up on all the LAN event stuff. I think he is one of the better candidates for president and I think it wouldn’t take very long at all for him to learn the inner workings of the club.
Our campus runs OC12 which is somewhere around 650 Mb/s effective. And I’m god of the servers now, not Adam. At least for now I am anyways.
Here it is from the horses mouth so to say (as many call me a horse’s *edited*). The source server is 100 tic. The 1.6 server is default which is most likely 33. Lowering the frame rates on our server helped the registry and lag. Tron is a two year old $10,000 machine with dual opterons (older) and 16 gb of ram (newer). It continuously runs 5-6 servers at all times. Each server is fully logged, which requires faster hard drives. Every time someone hits someone, the round restarts, someone dies or spawns or joins, in every server we have, it is logged. Imagine how much reading/writing that is in a single day. To run a single source server of about 16 players wouldn’t take quite as much. Any half way decent machine today would be able to do it. The reason you ping so well to WCU is because Tron has special internets on an OC3 (now OC12) connection. If you don’t know what all that means google it. I’m just rambling at this point anyways.

I need to start training a new president. All who wish to run next semester let me know. With a baby of my own, I will have no time to run a Club of 400 babies.
Everything is peaceful with the in-laws for the time being. I still don’t have internets at home because figured Vista had my wireless driver and it did not. I’m going to grab the card driver before I leave tonight and I’m going to try to leech for the last week and a half that I am at home (parents live in a condo).
Sorry NoDice. I thought you were even more busy this summer than I am. I haven’t talked to you all summer.

.I have to buy a bigger case. I’m looking at the full ATX version of the soprano. Or at least to me it’s the full ATX version. I do challenge you to beat my case wiring though. I don’t have modular cabling and it still *edited*ing kicks *edited*. I’ll let you see it when we get back for RCC training.
