I just deleted my 43 warlock so I could transfer over my 70 one only to find out that PAID CHARACTER TRANSFER IS FRIGGIN DOWN FOR A FEW DAYS. WTF BLIZ? WTF?

Has to be Half Life for me. If it were not for Half Life, first person shooters would still be “run through and blow everything up.” That’s what Half Life did for the fps genre. For those of you who have never played the original Half-Life, it was the first fps to add puzzle solving strategies to game play. I think that it was one of the most revolutionary changes gaming has ever seen.

Seriously though I am kinda between distros and don’t have any installed ATM but I have been toying lately with gOS and Mandriva.
I used to use Mandriva back in the day because I liked KDE. Now that I’m older, I like the simplicity of GNOME and I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE the conary updater in Foresight. (I am a command line *edited* after all)
I have my UI back and running with the exception of a few things that are bugging me. Those would be: Tinytip and Xloot.

Also, be careful what kind of SSD you get. Some of them are actually a lot slower than regular SATA drives. The Intel one is ridiculously fast if they have released it. I’m not sure what the release date was.
It’s a message board. Don’t be Nazis…I think the forums are overall enjoyable the majority of the time. This has never been a problem before, even when the forums were more active.
Could be an issue with WoW. WoW has a tendency to lock my computer completely up to the point that I have to hard restart it. Think my problem is with SLI, but I think some non SLI people have been having the same issue.
Your best bet is to grab a graphics intensive time demo like 3dmark or something and run it a few times in a row. If it’s truly a heat problem, that’s a good way to ferret it out. I’m pretty sure Tim got you an Nvidia card did he not? The new drivers came with a pretty nice monitoring program. It looka like dis:

OpenGL is a different rendering engine. It’s old as balls. Direct X is updated and maintained while OpenGL is outdated crap (it used to be *edited*ing awesome). Use d3d, your card will utilize it better.
And this is why 4chan ceases to be awesome. Once EVERYONE found out about it, they very quickly managed to ruin the whole thing for the people that had been there from the beginnings.
