well going by past results of 4v4 tournaments im going to keep it as a bring your own team right now and have got the marketing exec to put 4v4 on the flyers so that more ppl will know than normal. I havent had any complaints really from the people who came to previous tournaments but if it becomes an issue i will change it for the future.
yea i understand that but im going to talk to marketing about putting 4v4 on the advertisements and also we have had 4v4 tournys in the past and have teams of 4 have not been a problem. A good example of this is MW2 which in the last 2 tournys have had 8-10 teams show up to play without problem. Also being that Reach will only be out for 4 days before the LAN everyone will be at an even playing field.
People will just need to make their team before they show up like normal and if there are any teams of 2 or 3 we will try to get them together or with a random. The teams will be selected to play eachother randomly through a bracket computer program like last time.

i think some ppl like me decided to step down from running to help in other ways. I was going to run for Console VP but i thought my xbox expertise was better suited for just running the tourneys
i just dont understand why we should change something that has proven to be affective in the past. I aslo dont want the one time we finally have COD 4 it be a bad experience b/c of these rules. Something that is also in the back of my mind is that new rule stating games with the lowest two particpations will get the boot for the next tourney and having these rules i feel will cause less ppl to show and less ppl to play.

I think if you take away the friend aspect of this you’re going to lose players. People want to play with their friends and being tossed onto a team with 3 people you’ve never seen before is a major turn off. Unless they’re all good, then it’s a major win.

hmmmm i dont know about all that chris haha. I dont think you have seen me and trevor actually some what try hard until yesterday, even then we didnt go all out. I too would like to play these guys though.
i will respect whatever is chosen for the halo rules, i just want to put it out there that alot of people who voted for it to get in the tourney had the idea it would be MLG b/c it has been normally i believe so would like it to be. Using the MLG rules would be easier to run and i think the majority of the people who are coming would want it to be used. Just wanted to putt my opinion in there, Though as i said earlier i will respect whatever the mike’s choose.
but atleast please NO BUBBLESHIELD, REGEN, or SHIELD DRAIN!
honestly i was skeptic about this LAN since there really not many games i wanted to play and i was kinda mad that resistance, goldeneye and NCAA were voted in, which was b/c no one showed up to vote. I honestly didnt think those were right for the LAN and it turned out i was right, but atleast now ppl know. Though when i showed up i had a blast. I met so many knew ppl and a few i already knew that i had no idea played video games like that. Was real cool!
here are my ratings.
+ there were a whole lot of new people there
+ advertising had gotten alot better
+ Street Fighter was a great addition to the LAN
+ thought the new execs did a good first job
– I saw the ps3 leader cuss out the Console VP, which was very un proffesional on the clubs part (well his). If the VP says to do something that console leader should listen.
– One game shouldnt be played on both consoles it was very ineffecient
– Games need to be voted in that will draw more people, not games only a few ppl think will be fun
– More Pizza!
– Better Organization with the schedule

i think we could def start earlier and i dont understand why the shooters are always the last things to be played. They kinda get shafted by having the late time slot, but if we get the schedule right it should be a problem.
i would recommend just using all of my game footage from the next LAN that has Halo. That should be enough to get ppl excited about the club. lol
