EphraimParticipantI’ve contacted xoxide and myteespot.

I swear.. every FPS you bring up will just be countered with that argument every time. Guess what? Greatest game ever? PONG! Yeah.. we wouldn’t have video games without PONG. /thread.See now how stupid that argument sounds?
PONG would be nothing without Computer Space.
Computer Space would be nothing without Spacewar.
Spacewar would be nothing without computers.
Computers would be nothing without the abacus.
the abacus would be nothing without Sumerian culture.
Sumerian culture would be nothing without agriculture.
Agriculture would be nothing without plantlife.
Plantlife would be nothing without photosynthetic cells.
Photosynthetic cells would be nothing without the Lord God Almighty.
EphraimParticipantI honestly thought this was a racial comment until I clicked on the link. Now I feel shame.

EphraimParticipantToday I received the following email from the proprietor of fangamer.net:
Quote:
Hey there Ephraim, sorry for the late reply, but we’re definitely interested in helping out. Things are real busy right now so I don’t know how quickly we can get rolling, but we’ve got some vouchers and merch we could send your way. We’ve also got some Wii Points cards that we’ll never use since EB won’t be coming out on VC, heheh.Let me know what you think!
Reid
Fangamer.net is the commercial arm of Starmen.net, the #1 Earthbound/Mother fansite around. They have merch on their site that ranges from awesome shirts to awesome posters. Reid is kind of a legend among Earthbound afficianados, so it was really cool to get an email from him. I sent an email back to him which thanked him profusely, told him what we’d do for his site (put a link on our sponsor page and send him pics) and told him where to send the prizes. Good times.

EphraimParticipantA few more random pictures would be nice.
Preferably one that features more than just my right arm.
EphraimParticipantI think his videos should be taken as entertainment; not actual reviews. The man is very funny, but I have some reservations about his methods.
EphraimParticipantI used to have a programming professor who would frequently extol the virtues of Linux. I am fairly certain he was a homosexual, but really that’s an unrelated subject.
EphraimParticipantHere is a converation I had in Japanese class the other day:
Takeda Sensei: Where’s Colin?
Me: I have no idea. Oh, but I recently heard that he may be living in the same suite as me next semester.
Takeda Sensei: Freed, I could care less who lives in your suite.
Me: But there’s a chance it will work out so that it’s me, the president of the Gaming Club, Colin, and this guy named Borsto. The suite will pretty much become the new Gaming Club Headquarters!
Guy Sitting Next to Me: You guys are gonna get laid.
EphraimParticipantThe only time a actually care about achievments are when they actually do something, like TF2. Those are addictive.

So… did I miss something or did you just take out the part necessary to understand the punchline?Yes, but I don’t want to get yelled at. Trust me, it’s funny.
EphraimParticipantSo, a little girl walks into her family’s bathroom to discover her mother showering and her father shaving at the sink…

“About ten minutes from now when your mother leaves.”

Ephraim I agree. But if you would please read this thread its the idea of finding something to replace them with. Not to simply say they don’t belong there.Adam Faulkner said:
what links should be removed?<_ criticism not accepted.>
The “A to Z Index” to “Contact Admin” can safely be removed. Same with the “Info for:” box. They don’t need to be replaced with anything.
EphraimParticipantAAAAAA! Finally!
It seems I was right about the wooden bat. Wasn’t expecting a baseball to be in there, though.
EphraimParticipantWhile it’s fine that the Home Page now resembles the WCU Home Page, I think it would be best to eliminate a bunch of the academic links. There is no need to visit MyCat through the Gaming Club site.
EphraimParticipantThis seems like the sort of thing I should probably be concerned about.
EphraimParticipantActually, it was close to five. I was playing it off and on, plus the last boss could acuratley be described as “a *edited*.” Over the last week, I’ve been trying the last four levels over and over, slowly getting farther every time. Got it last night. Now I can concentrate on the downloadable content.
EphraimParticipantUpdate:
I BEAT IT!
EphraimParticipantThe Simpsons should have been cancelled a decade ago. At least the crappy opening now matches the crappy show. It’s like they took the old opening and randomly threw in a bunch of out-of-place references.
EphraimParticipantI sent an email to fangamer.net. So far, I haven’t heard a response.
EphraimParticipantI know. I was just messing around.
Oh, and I’m now saving the minutes on my computer, just in case they are needed.
EphraimParticipantFixed.
What, you never screw up at your job? People were talking. Ranty ranty ranty.
EphraimParticipantFOOLS! That’s Jango; not Boba! Still awesome, though.
EphraimParticipantWell, it shouldn’t be difficult to figure out who did it. There were less than fifteen people at the club. I generally try to put down exactly what people leave as their alias, because people joke around with it all the time. If anybody is super offended, I can easily remove the profanity.
Edit: Meh. It was too distracting. I took it out.

Ok whats up with the crossing out of names and filling in with derogatory language. This is a little overboard and shows a lack of maturity. It was on the sheet when I got it. I assumed it was some kind of joke.
EphraimParticipantYou look really different in your Obamicon than in your profile pic. I guess it’s the hair.
EphraimParticipantKER-DUMP!
EphraimParticipantI sometimes play on a TF2 server with a guy who calls himself Billy Mays. He only communicates with sound clips from Billy Mays infomercials.
“I guarantee it!”

I have already gone past the main question of whether or not someone should be gaining this “unprecedented “power” and “monitoring” the CB. I fully realize the potential affect of having the CB in the White House. Again, I am fine with that. I would still be fine with move, even if a republican regime were in the white house.Ah, so you mean that you have no problem with the concept of a President giving said powers to the Chief of Staff, regardless of political party. Okay, I thought you meant it would only be okay for a Democrat to get said powers. That’s where the confusion was. I think the White House should have no authority over the issue, but I admit you are not being a hypocrite.

If you want to be politically correct, we should start referring to ourselves as North American because there’s another continent that contains “America” in it. If you don’t want to call East Asians “Asian,” which is the general use in American vernacular (possibly in other countries, too, but I’m not very familiar with that), then it’s incorrect to call yourself American. Even though the rest of the world uses the term to describe someone from or something related to the United States, it excludes Canada, Mexico, and all of South America.*edited*, that’s a really decent point.
I still say it’s silly to call someone asian if they were not actually born somewhere in Asia (for the reasons stated above) but I’m not going to go all grammar-Nazi if someone calls Japanese or Chinese people asisn because it is technically acurate.
Oh, and the guy from the Dragon Ball trailer looks nothing like Master Roshi. It’s a bunch of crap.
