Aight, let’s try this one more time. List reasonable and attainable sponsors here along with possible suggestions for prizes. We’ll try and divy out the responsibility of contacting sponsors to make sure it gets done.

    Kiaeneto.com (T-shirts or Gift certificates)

    MadCatz (various gamepads / accessories)

    Pelican (various gamepads /accessories)

    Gamer Graffix (Gift certificate)

    Fatheads (Gift certificate)

    GelTabz (GelTabz)

Virtual Ambush (Free play time / merch) — Note*: I would’ve said the Nexus first, but they’ve failed us every time.

ill go tell the Nexus one time that they are welcome to sponsor us. but they have screwed me over before, so im not going out of my way to advertise for them unless they decide to come through big time.

If anyone does contact a sponsor, let us know.. so we don’t end up assaulting the poor people. I’ll be working on a few sponsor e-mails as well as scouting for more prospective sponsors in the upcoming week.

Generally I’d expect a 2-3 business day turnaround on sponsor e-mails. Just keep us posted Ephraim.

This is great keep up the good work. Some advice. Try to negotiate sponsorship advertisement on our forums. We plan on implementing that sometime soon. Also tell them they are welcome to come to the lan event and speak about their product or business. It always good to say “we support local business” in an online world

Today I received the following email from the proprietor of fangamer.net:

    Quote:

Hey there Ephraim, sorry for the late reply, but we’re definitely interested in helping out. Things are real busy right now so I don’t know how quickly we can get rolling, but we’ve got some vouchers and merch we could send your way. We’ve also got some Wii Points cards that we’ll never use since EB won’t be coming out on VC, heheh.

Let me know what you think!

    Reid

Fangamer.net is the commercial arm of Starmen.net, the #1 Earthbound/Mother fansite around. They have merch on their site that ranges from awesome shirts to awesome posters. Reid is kind of a legend among Earthbound afficianados, so it was really cool to get an email from him. I sent an email back to him which thanked him profusely, told him what we’d do for his site (put a link on our sponsor page and send him pics) and told him where to send the prizes. Good times. B)

Today, I received an email from the Public Relations department of Silverstone Technology. They asked me to fill out an attached form and email it back to them. The form includes sections such as Company Information, Organizer Information, Content of the LAN Party, and Previous LAN Party. I will start on the form soon, but would appreciate a little help.
