Well, I dont think they are going to allow us to use their CMS for all the pages that we need. I really dont know if we what the responsibility of logging into their system. But what we can do is take their template right off the home page with buttons and links. I mean we could make it so you couldn’t even tell that you were on our site until you got here. To be honest I dont like their menu on our page. We have too much content. I think we need to come up with an idea so that they can get back to http://www.wcu.edu from our homepage and vise verse but i dont know that i want the exact links they have. But maybe we should. That is something for the community to decide.
Kuros once said his homepage was the forums and he never goes to the main site. How many people is this true for?

as long as you guys leave the scrim if you see someone in irc complaining about a hacker to take the demo and get the ban i am all for the idea. Besides we have been doing that anyway.

Also nobody is going to get rid of this theme, but we may add the other one as the global default. You can always set your default to something else.
well in all honesty its only changing the green to brown. I have been waiting for something like this to happen before i changed the front site CMS anyway. I think this is a great time to fix up the home page. I can get derrick to change the color on the forum also. If that is something you guys want to do. Even though he is not a friend to the community anymore we are proud of our work and the link at the bottom. I would pay derrick out of my pocket. Websites have always been my donation to the club.

When clans are advertising on our site to find support for their clan we have nothing to prosper from it. We are not a clan organization and never will be. Having teams come to our lans is great, but they will play against each other or picked on teams by random. Using them for advertising purposes builds relationship and obligations that we do not stand for or need to even discuss. I do not want to see any clans piggy backing off of our servers and organization to reap the benefits. That is not what we are here for and that has never been what this gaming club has stood for. We are a group of people who have fun, not a competitive team. I dont mind clans playing on the servers as long as they dont team stack or cause trouble.
Hopefully you will feel the same way. This is one thing I have held firm for a great deal of time. It is the fundamental difference between us and Appstate.

From the start of time we have required people to register for the forums to signup for the lan.
It is our way of informing the users at the lan that we have forums, because we dont really advertise them. I have never herd a user complain about it. It has never been a concern before, and yet we have seen benefits from people signing up.

well to be honest, we are all still here, and as the club grows there will be more past presidents. More feelings hurt and alot more parties!
I would like to think that this club is a group effort. I mean we give alot of credit for the club being where it is today to the current president and its status, when in actuality the credit should be going to the users who just enjoy playing on the clubs servers. Ill say that Loot has been guidance to the club. When he plays everything is going great, when he doesn’t play or has time off for classes the population of the servers go down.
As a president I hardly go to play the games that made me want to start this club, even though I still own everyone at them. I found it way more fun for me atleast to watch others play and give away free stuff!

clava Ashley and I had our friends over after the reception and drank the night away.
We did leave at 10pm and go do our thing, but It worked out really well.

go to support the lan and the gaming club not because certain people are going, go visit people you want to see on another weekend.
I do plan on going to the lan, but for now that is up in the air. Alot of things are going on with my family right now and dates are set around the lan event. I dont know for sure if I will have a chance to go, but I always plan to go to every one that we have.
well we are all part of a council.
I think one big thing is map changing. The person who is the council leader will have that access. So that they can delegate the maps played. They will need to spend alot of time on he server. That is the key. Time.
I will send it to J0rman, It is in my possession. He says he doesn’t have an address currently that he would trust me to send it to, but we will get it to him.

Guys just sit back and watch. Get on the server and start playing. Dont worry about changing anything to make it work. Just get in the server and play. I will be helping along with all the 1.6 admins to make sure that the server remains popular and populated.
I know you think its dead, but I think you need to stop talking about it dying. It is not helping the situation at all again get your butt in the server and play.
Lets use the maps that work and we will work the custom maps in as the server becomes more popular. I dont want them to banish all the cool custom maps, but there are times for them and lately they haven’t helped the server’s popularity. Lets try the originals and see if we can turn this around.
