As I just told rdiddie, please keep the advertising to a minimum. I’m more lenient with rQ as a large chunk of your clan plays here.
Do you think you guys could add a section to the forum to post clan info (clans based on WCU servers)?

oh, i realize that. i’m saying that it shouldnt be allowed since there are only two clans that as a group really play on the server. any other clans that would advertise on the forum would just be from single players joining the server at random times and coming to the forums at random to advertise. it just wouldnt make any sense.
its a simple link thats not breaking any rules
we don’t need any unnecessary drama,, everything does not need to be made into such a big deal.
Well, I guess I am just saying generally. **MAYBE, not for sure, but MAYBE** more clans will start dedicating themselves to the WCU server if they feel like they have a spot on the forums. Idk, just a variable.

i didn’t think that the pink monkey’s were really that organized in a clan sense, but i don’t see why they couldn’t have a site too, lucky probably wanted to show off his awesomeness

It’s not that big a deal at first but it will get worse over time. The intention of this was to prevent other clans from stealing players. For clans that primarily play on our servers I don’t really mind a bridging of communities but I’m much less inclined to prop up another clan that doesn’t frequent out servers.
I’ll talk this over with Bitey and Liam at the next meeting.

you guys are more like a family versus a clan, each person a small but important part of the larger pink monkey of life

masterp if you think of it you should be harder seeing as so many of the rq peeps play here they should know the rules of no advertising. And i hate to say it but this isn’t the original rage quit this is just another group of people that decided to use that name for there clan the original rq clan came out about 6 years ago but hey anyone can name there clan what ever they want.
i have seen a lot of the rq peeps and there the same group of people that i have seen in the past with other tags .
Master p i asked bitey before i even thought bout doing this. I asked him if i could post our website link so people could check it out. I dont think it will get any worse than what it is now. Unless u make it out to be a big deal. I have respect for wcu and there rules the whole reason why i asked bitey before i done it. Instead of just posting it and wondering what would happen. Nodice im not sure who did the website for us. Itech got someone to do it for us but thx for all the good words bout it and peeps checking it out.
Actually, I think letting the clans advertise their sites here would be a wonderful idea, provided they are willing to link back to us on their site. We could even setup a “webpage” on the home page with the clans that are affiliated with us.
as long as we stay on the clubs founded principles, and not turn into a appstate clan fest. (which turned away alot of nooblets)
one of the attractiveness (is that a word) about this club is its one of the most organized “pubs”
I am not trying to act like I can make decisions, but can I put an idea down (rhetorical question
)? IF we did have a section on the forums for clans, you guys could approve them and they would have to have X number of advertisements for WCU on their website. I just think it would be really cool if clans actually had an official spot on WCU as oppose to JUST playing in the server every night. It would also possibly (as I said earlier) attract more clans/make the current clans that our regulars happy.On that topic liam we wouldnt have no problem at all doing that. Matter of fact consider it done. Ill talk to itech tonight and have u guys on it.
When clans are advertising on our site to find support for their clan we have nothing to prosper from it. We are not a clan organization and never will be. Having teams come to our lans is great, but they will play against each other or picked on teams by random. Using them for advertising purposes builds relationship and obligations that we do not stand for or need to even discuss. I do not want to see any clans piggy backing off of our servers and organization to reap the benefits. That is not what we are here for and that has never been what this gaming club has stood for. We are a group of people who have fun, not a competitive team. I dont mind clans playing on the servers as long as they dont team stack or cause trouble.
Hopefully you will feel the same way. This is one thing I have held firm for a great deal of time. It is the fundamental difference between us and Appstate.
MUAHAHAH sorry not looking for advertising from wcu at all to be honest there adam. Just like alot of peeps that play here and thought it would be cool for them to check out our site. Like i said in my last post i asked bitey before and told him why i wanted to do it. Why would i want advertising for my clan if that was the case i would go to other clans and get it. I like the peeps here and would like them to be active on our forums nothing more or less.

I was simply adding my thoughts on the ideas that were posted in the page before. Again my opinion holds no true value other than what it means to me and the people who value my thoughts. However if this topic was started when I administrated these forums I would have deleted it and politely send you a pm asking not to do it again.
Adam, I know where you are coming from 100%. Your first post on the thread made total sense to me and that is the healthy way to raise a community, so, we (or atleast I) understand.
BTW Dice, I know this is kinda retarded but that “Is the juice worth the squeeze” link really gave me something. Thank you.
