Ha .. he has no secretary. He isn’t ever in his office. I have left voicemails and emails .. I can’t do no more. Again I need someone to go down and get someones attention.
here is the email.
Hey Jed,
I was referred to you by Brian in ITS to talk to you about the new website redesign. I am the founder of the WCUGaming Club and was wondering if we can redesign our website to reflect the WCU’s website. The reason I am contacting you is because the Designer that I have on staff requires the approval by WCU to use the logo’s colors and image that the new WCU website portrays. I really don’t want to get into any copy write issues at all. The gaming club is a part of the university I think this would help Brand us a little better. If this does happen what resources do we have for disposal from you guys. I remember there being talk about integrating us into the schools CMS, but it seems that we will not have the same control that we currently have on our web server. Let me know your thoughts on this.
Thanks,
Adam Faulkner

Well as always if you keep bugging you will get the right person.
It looks like Jed Tate is our man.
I have sent him an email and voicemail. The voicemail i sent to him was 2 days ago. So today I called back. They told me to send him an email.
Never the less .. I can’t get up with anyone! Same as always.
having you live at the university your means for communication and chances for finding a person to help are alot greater than mine. I would just walk down and ask inside forsyth if thats where they keep their programmers locked up still.
most of what you are asking for is already in the validation I believe.
As for putting a link on the homepage I think we can work something creative out. I dont think it should be in the menu, but I can find somewhere to put it.
I really dont know who. I would go to ITS and ask for the person who is in charge of web design.
Its vague because I dont know.
I see no problem in it, but I dont like sk and never will.
Also with the issues with cpu’s and whatnot this may get put on the back burner for some time.
hum, please make it a map like sk .. sk has always had problems.
Keep the slots lower than 30 for now please. 28 is a good slot count FYI
Can i get someone to go down to ITS and get them to pass the ok on this? I cant get anyone on the phone.
My designer needs a document that says they are ok with this.
Not a problem .. I have a different designer for the job.
I would personally rather derrick do it because of the price difference, but I do understand the issue.
Simpweb is doing the work more or less so dont worry with it. The only person with access is me. I post the project not the designer. IPB was the only exception.
Dice I have plans of Remaking the home site here shortly. I am just waiting on a few things.
Book designer for job. —- Done
Talk to WCU to see what i can copy and what i cant — waiting on wcu
Design time (2 weeks) — waiting
CMS Code — waiting on design
Publish —- waiting on cms
basically I need someone with some time to get someone and ask them if they dont mind. We had to do this last time.
ALSO WELCOME TO OUR FORUMS~!
i want to hear it? i looked under the guest services and did some searches but nothing came up. I would really enjoy hearing it.
Also fyi we are trying to attract students, anything we can use for marketing material we love and want to post it up on the forums and homepage. It will get alot of hits if you put it on here trust me.
maybe he is right, look at this.
seems like most of our homepage hits come from http://www.wcu.edu maybe we should use their menu.
