I started playing in July and stopped playing after my two 80s hit 85, which was like early January or something. For the last month, I just lost interest. I like that they made the dungeons harder, they added new quests/removed some of the old ones, and changed the entire world, but I just don’t feel like playing dungeons anymore. I kept finding them annoying because they were so tough, but then again, it was still new to everyone, so of course we were wiping a lot. I also didn’t do anything with my gear, though. No gems, enchants — hell, I’m still carrying items from questing cuz I wasn’t getting a whole lot of good drops for a priest (guess I’d have to get *edited* crafted).
I don’t do raids (see the part where I mention that my gear isn’t great). If I went back to playing, I’d probably like to start a new toon just so I could play the new quests or level my professions on my 85s.
Before I lost interest in WoW, though, the thing that I liked the most was leveling my toon. When I hit 80, I got kinda bored, too, now that I think about it. Next was leveling my professions, lol.
I just tested it out with another jpg and now it’s working. Weird. I dunno why it didn’t before. Oh well. Thanks anyway. xP

Edit: Fixed link. I just realized that I was linking to a jpg when I wanted to use a png.
Edit #2: Never mind! I decided to test out the link to the png and it worked. ^^ The signature settings page don’t list any file type restrictions, but maybe it was cuz it was a jpg?

I just started playing TF2 again after not playing for like a year or so. I felt like it was getting pretty retarded when people were finding items more often. And this crafting *edited* is just weird.
I’m not even gonna go into whatever it is you’re talking about. I just want the TF2 I had two years ago.
*edited* you, TF2.(I want to keep the engi updates, though. Picking up and moving gear should’ve been there from the beginning.)
LOL, I read the second post (by urban) and I was like, wtf, that kid’s back? And then I saw it was from 2006, haha. Phew.

Hmm, I’m not so sure about that. If I recall correctly, if you deactivate your profile, your name will still show up under the tags, but it won’t be a link to your profile anymore. I don’t think any of my friends have deleted their accounts. I’ve only seen a bunch of deactivated ones.
Also, to add to my previous comment, as far as I know, the only place to find the link to the page to delete your account is in that help article. God, I hate facebook.

There is an option to delete your profile, but because the *edited*s don’t want you to, they make it hard to find. There’s an option to DEACTIVATE your profile that’s easy enough to find, but when I was considering deleting my profile (which I still may do), I had to search the Help section for how to do it and even then, it wasn’t even the first result. It was like the 5th one down.
I thought I couldn’t keep listening to it past 2 minutes — it seemed pretty boring and annoying at first — but when the other guys started talking, it got a little more interesting… but like, by a hair.
I have to agree with the person’s comment when they said, “i think i just listened to 10 minute and 9 seconds of ”*edited*ing noob” and ”ebay””
I don’t use really use vent or any other voice chat program because I dislike most idle chat or because I can’t hear anything in the game (this is more directed at CS). I guess I’m not really missing much. xP

When I first installed, I was hoping that we’d get to be able to create multiple accounts like on WoW — whoever has us added on real ID would be able to message you no matter what account you were on, and then you could also just have a person add a particular account and they’d only see you on that one. I was annoyed to find that you can only create one. @_@ And if I’m wrong, I haven’t seen an option to create another one yet — but I suppose this would be moot anyway what with the “you have to use real ID” thing.
What’s worse is that a friend on facebook has been harassing me to add him and to use the fb feature — but I don’t want to. He’s… an okay guy… but I really don’t like how Blizzard made it so *edited*ing easy for people to add me. The thing I liked about the old bnet was the anonymity. People could add you to their friends list, but they can’t see what [private] channel you’re in unless you were mutual friends. If they kept bothering you, you could ignore them. You could create another account if you wanted to play without them.
No one on my BL on bnet was someone I knew irl (originally. That’s changed). I don’t like playing with people I know irl. They’re nubs. In like 9th grade, when I asked some guys from my HS to play, they played fastest map ever and said NR and tried to turtle. I rushed dts and killed almost everyone; the guy who got cannons first was saved and went CARRIERS. Anyway, fortunately, I made a separate account to play with them so I never had to see them (on bnet) again. I haven’t gotten on bnet or read about it yet, so I don’t know the specifics on certain things, but I speculate that people — chiefly those I don’t particularly like — now have an easier way of finding me. FB integration and real ID? wtf.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but this is what it looks like to me. I won’t be on any time soon either, so I can’t check it out. I actually wasn’t considering getting it yet cuz I don’t have a machine (or access to one now) that can run it well, but my boyfriend bought copies for us the morning it was released.
tl;dr: Blizzard *edited*ed me off.

My cat just had babies. We can’t keep them, though, because we have so many. They’re 1.5 weeks old. I’m gonna take pictures of them. I love it when kittens are just learning to walk and they’re all wobbly and falling over. They’re so pudgy, too. They’re adorable when they look like that before they start getting big and slimming down. OH GOD. CUTENESS.

For your information, an intimately close friend of mine has spent years dealing with chronic depression, two old acquaintances I hadn’t seen in ages have committed suicide within the last year, and a very good childhood friend died of an overdose last summer (possibly in a suicide attempt, brought on by the wreck that drugs had left his life and the fact that his ex-girlfriend filed a restraining order on him). I know this subject fairly well. That is why this thread struck so close to home with me. It is also why you have offended me on an unforgivable level. While it is often helpful for people with depression to discuss their problems with friends, family, and people undergoing similar treatment, you must be very careful whose advice you take. Suicide is such a serious and dangerous subject, that discussing it with anonymous peers on the same forum known for conversations like “wallhax suck” and “have you ever farted in front of your girlfriend” is just not appropriate. After scanning through the thread, I have read some things I would never say to a suicidally depressed person including “once you have depression, the feelings of depression never leave.” This sort of irresponsiblity is exactly why you should only discuss such a serious problem with people you actually know in real life.
My main advice for anyone contemplating suicide is to quickly seek professional help from a licensed psychologist and emotional support from only your most trusted friends and family.
In summary: Screw you. I’m leaving this thread before things get out of control.

Also, I can think of only one person (at the present) who could write what you described. Maybe two, but I haven’t seen one of them in a while.
