A RTS became an MMORPG. (Warcraft)
If they were to make a Diablo RTS, it would possess elements of the Diablo realm/universe, not the mechanics.
Hell, they’re making a Halo RTS too. The games would come from the same universe, but not be exactly alike. Duhr.
I’ll join you guys once I get my account reactivated. But first, I must make sure my Live account is renewed and I must buy Viva Pinata for my girlfriend.
Mostly likely what I would do is focus mainly on hardcore PvE players first. Keep the forums from them secret at first. That or I just make a separate site or something.
It’d be good for bringing the whole entire community closer together. Not just admins, but granted, you can have your own secret parties.
There was an idea for console players to work on doing that next semester. To hold it in a couple rooms in a dorm or something of that nature.
He definitely there. And I know several people spoke to him about paying fees but I don’t think he even reacted.
Played his PS3 and on the 360’s the whole time.
Well need more people on the forums just as much as at LANs. So running the ad on TV62 next semester as well as flyers promoting the forums will help out both situations.
Falcon, I´ll try and record some more Halo, Gears, and Vegas at some point, just so we have a bit more content to choose from.
Meh. I don’t know. Like I said.. buy / sell thread. And see if anyone can learn runs with their characters.. I think Dervishes and Warriors are the primary classes.
If we need to.. I say we make two versions of the fliers.. one for consoles and one for PC. I can work on some ideas for console-ish ones.
None as of yet. I thought I was; turned out it was just a router issue. It’s all good. All green here.
Me and Akuzan talked about it. I think if we bring in old Xbox’s (since more people have those) we can use those soley for Halo 2. Tourney and free play. That leaves the limited number of 360’s we have open to Gears and other newer games for free play. That was one idea.
But I suppose I should save that for the meeting.

— Granted. I know we do that now. But maybe we should actually consider all the games that would be played during free play too, so those guys aren’t getting shifted around so often. Well.. with GH2 anyways and other 360/Xbox games.—
Also, I think part of the lag on Halo 2 is caused by the emulation on the 360. I haven’t actually bothered to sit down and try it, but I think since the 360 is emulating Halo 2, that the program is causing some latency with the network speed. I may be wrong, but someone should test it out on just the standard-issue Xbox.

Hopefully, I can crank out a few designs this summer. Especially if there are some nice moments and quotes from this next LAN.
Well, I don’t know how many members there are. Plus I’m not sure if all of them want to join our guild necessarily.
I like Prophecies the most. Factions seemed like a more PvP Oriented Expansion (with Alliance Battles, Challenges etc.) and the storyline just kinda seemed bleh.
Nightfall would rank second because of the addition of heroes and using them in all the continents. Bit better storyline and the choices were fun.
Prophecies felt like a more well rounded game. It took time to develop your character and get your builds right. And after you beat Hell’s Precipice, you felt like you’d accomplished something. Be a level 20 in 3 days or less of game play is really unsatisfying.

1) Mature. Responsible.
2) Moderate activity.
3) Responsive to Guild Members.
4) Willing to help when available.
5) Knowledge of game and mechanics.

Duties:
1) Recruiting. (Standards and Methods of Recruiting are TBD)
2) Helping Guild Members When Available and Requested.
3) Organize Guild Events (Such as Farming Runs, Going through Key Missions etc.)
4) Communicating with the Guild (regarding events, ideas, and suggestions from Guild members)
5) Settling any disputes.
6) Promotion of members to Officers (with other Officers’ or Guild Leader’s consent/approval)
Granted I know some of you may feel like you don’t qualify for being a member because of knowledge of game or exactly what defines moderate activity. I can be the judge of that on a case-by-case basis. And I can help educate you guys as far as mission tactics go, quests, builds, etc. I’m willing to teach if you’re willing to learn. Hopefully I can purchase a Guild Hall for us at some point this weekend so we can have in-game meetings or at least a meeting place to go do missions/quests and the like, as opposed to finding each other in a crowded town/outpost.

I’ll set up the legistical mechanics of the guild, such as qualifications for officers as well as their duties, the scope of recruitment and how we handle recruitment procedures.
And since the club is not actually sponsoring the Guild, I believe we may need to set up an external set of forums.
So if you guys know of any free forum sites, or other alternatives, let me know.
