You have the option with the Zune to go either way. You can buy your songs, DRM free, and keep them forever just like iTunes or you can get the monthly subscription which includes store credit for 5-10 free songs per month.
Zune HD is without a doubt the best thing since sliced bread in the portable music category. Plus you can get the subscription service and download any song you want.
iTunes took 45 minutes to install on my gaming desktop and almost all my games load up faster than it does. No program that heavy and slow should ever been required to use a portable player. If not for that and the DRM, I’d recommend Apple but since you’re buying the entire package I have to say Zune.
Step 1 of professional customer support: Don’t end the conversation until the customer is happy, it’s apparent they cannot be made happy, or you need to investigate the problem and don’t want to waste the customer’s time.
My aunt used to live in a ritzy neighborhood in Charlotte and a couple Panthers players had houses there. From what she said, if you didn’t know they were players you’d never tell by talking to them. Apparently off the field they’re really cool, laid back guys.

The problem with that though is that you don’t represent what the WCUGA wants, at least according to what I’ve heard from Kazka. What I found made you happy seemed to not even make a dent in what Kazka wants.
Do you know what is going to be on the list of “demands”?

I don’t think one is better than another. I feel each game type can have one that is best. Rts on a controller is just as lol as prince of persia on a keyboard.
RTS has been done on console before and it worked really well. You just have to know WTF you’re doing and most modern game makers are more concerned about graphics than they are gameplay. For example, they ported Battlezone to N64 and it worked REALLY well.

Rate of acceleration is 9.8 m/s/s (meters per second per second). Since water breaks apart during the fall it won’t accelerate to much beyond 9-10 m/s, which isn’t much, but you can make up for this with volume of water dropped. That’s how hydro dams work.
Most GWLive games have controller compatibility built right in and automatically detect and use an XBOX controller if it detects that one’s plugged in. It’s definately do-able but they want you to buy an XBOX so it’ll never happen.

The power of the computer/console has nothing to do with this. At all. A PC can’t play games THAT much better than consoles. Besides, an FPS limit is pointless because the XBOX360 pushes 60FPS and a PC with vsync also pushes 60FPS. A beastly computer pushing 300FPS at Halo3 wouldn’t give you any advantage against an XBOX player.
In FPS, PC would rape console. No contest. It would take the absolute best Halo/MW2/BFBC2 players to even come close to competing with “decent” PC players. The accuracy and precision that the keyboard/mouse combo gives just can’t be beat by a controller, that’s all there is to it.
I wish they’d mix the two platforms so PC gamers could finally silence all the smack console gamers talk. It’d be really nice because many of the games I’d like to play on consoles could easily be playable on PCs and a straight conversion, at least from XBOX, would be a really simple process.
So IW’s poor implementation of XBL code caused VAC to go nuts. What a shock.
Wouldn’t it have just been so much easier to use PB and Microsoft’s GWLive matchmaking system?
Now would be a great time to go ahead and unlock that dedicated server code, you know, before they ban a ton of people again for nothing.
I can’t remember punkbuster ever “accidentally” banning 12,000 players in CoD4…
Then again CoD4’s matchmaking system never went down because of an update to the HL2 engine either…

XBOX games are made specifically so a mouse cannot be used with them.
This hardcoded incompatibility is what killed Halo2 PC, it wasn’t until about a year after the release that they were able to get the entire hardcoding out. If you use a mouse on XBOX games, it *might* work but even if it does the average PC gamer would go nuts because it requires smooth movement. The “zip around and headshot” motion that all PC FPS games require does not work.

Fighters have always been better on a controller, I bought my first PC controller to play fighters online.
Port forwarding and DMZ don’t actually work on Belkin routers, especially DMZ, you can set it and still randomly get blocked ports.
Do what Nickname said and if everything works plugged directly into the modem then you might try updating the router firmware or buying a brand that isn’t garbage.
They blame me and you for everything. And by everything I mean literally everything, even stuff we can prove we had nothing to do with. Apparently we sat down and plotted this whole thing out. You and me, you know, the guy working 40 hours a week with another 20 hours of unlogged overtime and the other a full time student, frat member, club VP, and part time student worker. We had SO much time to plot this stuff, so much so that I really don’t get your attempts at denying it.
Just accept that they hate you and move on. Pay it no mind. I did that a long time ago and don’t regret it for a second. Those who care about the truth will seek it themselves and find that we aren’t as evil as the WCUGA leadership claims we are. Those who aren’t willing to seek out the truth themselves aren’t worth the waste of the electrical impulse required to think about, let alone care about. In the grand scheme of things, their opinions are meaningless, as are their wishes, desires, and demands. They mean nothing because they are entirely self-centered and once denied or fulfilled will create no lasting memory. They become a small tree in a forest of giants, overshadowed and concealed by those who give their all for the betterment and greater good of the club, rather than the achievement of personal ambitions.
The club isn’t here to meet your personal needs or fulfill personal agendas, unless that need or agenda is to have fun, play video games, and make new friends.

I quit giving them business when I pre-ordered Homeworld 2 and they had already sold my copy before I could get to the store at lunchtime on release day.
I sometimes buy used games from them but they shred DVDs to pieces when they “buff” the scratches out. The last Gamecube game I got there was so messed up it wobbled. They’re good about taking garbage they sell you back but I’ve had to be an *edited* several times because they tried to make me take store credit.
If it’s epic good on release I’ll get it, otherwise I’ll wait until it hits the more reasonable $50.
Blizzard can say what they want, I don’t believe for a second that the original Starcraft was $60 on release day.

That’s how Counter Strike started. And Garry’s Mod. And at leasta half dozen other good games/mods.
