It’s been at 50/24 for the last few ENTIRE days. No glitches involved.
If someone joins the server when it says 12/24 and its completely empty do you honestly expect them to stay or come back? IMO, this sort of trickery does just as much harm as good.

There are no legal discounts on Adobe products unless your employer has an agreement with a volume license vendor and even then it’s only half off.
You won’t get it any cheaper than $600 legally.
And it’s been up and stable for how long again? Oh that’s right 4 years.
Get over it. Other MMOs have much more downtime.

Tbh, I don’t understand why this is such a big deal. If you’re inactive, you lose admin. It’s this way almost everywhere else. I’m going to be going through CSS here shortly and clearing out all the inactive and poor performing admins we have and they won’t instantly get it back either.
We tried splitting the meal into 2 seperate meals but it failed. Badly.
Honest mistake as it was discussed at the meeting.
I’ll look into this Liam guy and see what kind of abuse history he has. I’m not sure I even approved him to have admin to Source.

When Source had redirects I disconnected out of spite no matter what clan did it to me. I even disconnected from TAG’s a few times over it. People join a server to play in that server. If they want to play in a regular server and get redirected to a customized-to-hell server they aren’t going to be happy and will tell their friends “hey watch that WCU server, it’ll kick you over to a custom garbage server if it’s almost full”.
Let people fight over the slots. It makes us look much more popular if people have to sit there and try for 5-10 minutes to get into the server. Better still, it means we are doing a good job of retention if people are willing to sit there and wait to get in. I myself have had to wait to get in the CSS server before, something that was unheard of a few months back. Definately have a custom if you want, but leave it up to the player as to whether or not to join it.

Like I said after the last LAN, if we have to pay for the fliers DO IT. We have got to start advertising more and trying to get free stuff is obviously cripling our ability to do so. I’ll repeat the example I gave before, if we pay $50 for advertising and bring in 20 extra people we just doubled our investment.
