The meeting will probably be the 2nd or 3rd week after we got back. We absolutely have to get a LAN date registered the monday we go back or we won’t get one at all in the Grand Room.
The only weapons restricted are AWPS and autosnipers.
If that’s not the case please let me know ASAP.

Get over VLC, it’s terrible.
I highly recommend Avermedia. They made the first real TV interface cards and still make rock solid products.

This is one of their higher end models but it comes with a remote and the reviews say it interfaces directly with the windows media center. Idk how well it works as a DVR, it’s usually a hit or miss feature with TV tuner cards.

Note how the situation is different. If all we had to go on with this was a demo he probably wouldn’t have been banned.
We won’t be able to play AoE2, even on the fastest connections it gets extremely laggy when a few good players get going at it. The only game we found similar to that game style that didn’t have lag issues was Empire Earth but those games take WAY too long.
Btw, as much as I don’t want to take my Wii to a LAN, if a good game isn’t played because enough copies can’t be found let me know and I can either bring a copy and my Wii or set up the other Wiis to use copies. Takes every bit of 10 minutes and is relatively harmless.

You do realize you aren’t the only ones who live in earshot of your house, right? And not all your neighbors are going to like listening to your music and drunk laughing in their homes.
Btw, when someone’s mad and comes to talk about it before calling in a noise complaint, it’s really stupid to do intentionally *edited* them off more. Most people would have just called in the noise complaint without coming to talk about it.
Then again I would have just turned off your power and lol’d as you spent an hour trying to figure it out.
We’re going to be changing the mapcycle soon, when the new one comes up I’ll reset the stats as well.

This would be no different than existing rental options where people pay x-amount per month and simply return it after a year of use and swap for another.
For example, the average gaming computer that maintains top of the line status costs about $1000 per year, such as spending $2000 on a custom built computer that can still play top of the time games well for 2 years. This is about average if you use top of the line parts when building. So instead of spending $1000 year on a computer that devalues you can spend that same amount on a machine that gets upgraded to newest status every year.
I think this would be extremely bad for custom builders, but for everyone else it might actually be a benefit, depending on the costs.
Btw, it’s 1AM EST and I’m still watching Star Trek on Spike.
I bet Dora won’t be crying tomorrow either. Viacom doesn’t have the balls to cut the 2nd largest carrier in the US and TWC can’t afford forcing people to switch carriers over this battle. Neither can afford to draw this out as both companies are being sold in the next year and legal expenses will drag down company value.

For as long as I can remember, we played some pretty weird maps, and we usually had a pretty full server while playing them.You had a full server because of the community. If the community is strong it will tolerate a certain degree of weirdness in the mapcycle but there are alot of people who don’t like weird maps and it’s a major turnoff to a player who has never played on the map before and gets ridiculed because he doesn’t know where the bombsites are.

I’m going to end this thread before the arguing gets any worse. We’ll readdress this issue when we reset the server stats and cycle next week.
