Of course it depends on what definition of “worked” you have.

I don’t consider being afraid of government punishment for going to wikipedia as “working out”.

    Books that are doing better:

-Chibi Vampire Vol. 12 (Kagesaki Yuna) – #21,495

-Pokemon Ruby and Saphire Strategy Guide (Prima Games) – #17,171

-Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day (Jeff Hertzberg) – #82

When the Pokemon strategy guide is outselling your auto-biography, yeah, you’ve got a problem.

This is why I don’t think there should be age limits on the charges and punishments “kids” get. If you’re old enough to steal a car, you’re old enough to go to jail.

I think we seriously need to get rid of this 2 party bull*edited* system who cares if someone is republican or democrat if they are doing a good job he/she should leave them where they are.

Because Reagan would have been in office until he died and this country would be epic in greatness. Oh, and Carter would have been railroaded out a week after inaugerated.

I mean you all are saying that this was very partisan of Obama to do, but one could also say that he was “reaching” across to the right, right as in republicans who clearly didn’t like him, by firing this guy.

Now you’re really reaching for an explaination. It fits though, Obama didn’t hire anyone from the existing intelligence community because they were in the existing intelligence community, you know, those evil people who were complacent in torturing terrorists captured on the battlefield by making them stand naked infront of women. Oh noes!

If Obama is willing to fire anyone, regardless of how epic a job they were doing, simply because they have an ® beside their name when they talk on TV I hate to see how we’re going to look in 4 years.

one more request. see if they can separate guitar hero and cs:s…that is if they are even doing GH this time.

I have little control over this but as of right now there isn’t an official GH tournament.

The problem with teams is that with the numbers we have been having lately it would create a very stacked environment. I know it’s fun but it’s really hard to get right. I will look into this and see what I can come up with.

In the meantime, please continue to give suggestions and feedback on how you guys want the tournament run.

The Gaming Club will be hosting a state-wide tournament for SSBM and SSBB on Saturday, January 24th in the Grandfather Ballroom of the Student Union. Tournament signups begins at 10AM. The Melee tournament will begin at noon. Following melee will be a lunch break/free play, and then the brawl tournament. Both tournaments will be singles (1v1) consisting of pool matches and a double elimination bracket.

    lol?

Yes you were just adding that they need to have console games because that’s what makes or breaks a LAN, insinuating that the LAN would fail in its current form. That’s not really adding. If I did that you would say I was being negative.

I do believe you just deflected and derailed. Tbh, I’m surprised it took you this long to do so. It’s going to be interesting trying to bash Obama because his followers believe he can do no wrong and when you prove he did they just deflect and bring up Bush.

How about instead of bashing Bush for the response time of a department he didn’t run you defend Obama’s mistakes that he himself ordered.

better have console stuff b/c thats where the majority of people for your LANs coe for.

This is actually a pretty stupid comment considering App had a console only LAN a few weeks back. App has enough of a PC crowd to not need consoles to break even with the event.

any suggestions on the dvd drive?

    will cheap work?

Remember you get what you pay for.

I highly recommend Sony/Optiarc and LG. I have used nothing but Sony drives and they are solid.

As for a CPU, don’t screw with a barebone. If just one piece is broke you usually have to send the whole thing back. If you order a processor, get a retail chip that comes with a heatsink/fan. The last thing you want to do is order a 2nd rate heatsink and be out all your money because it died and took the chip with it. In essence, get an Intel retail processor. You’ll be happier.

Bush actually had one of the best records of any president when it came to foreign AIDS relief. Everyone seems to gleefully skip over that. Bush, best at something? Right…

There’s really no reason to swap this position out unless your goal is to kill people. The guy in place is obviously doing a very good job and it seems rather un-messiah like to play partisan politics like this. I mean he was all about change but this move seems rather deadly. I would think that him being African-American might inspire some sort of compassion towards his people over there but I guess loyalty is overrated these days.

you said it would be 100% ready last night. I called bs. I was correct.

It’s mostly ready. The problem is that most competing gungame servers have a “turnkey” config that’s almost instant win right after install but since ours is being custom coded and designed to run on Sourcemod it’s not quite as easy.

Lemm, the only maps on it now are gungame maps.

If we increase the CSS slots it will decrease registry exponentially. Not happening. We aren’t limited by “slots” as an empty server doesn’t cost anything but hard drive space to host.

I will be configuring the Gungame server over the next few days and it should be ready to populate by mid-next week. Three of us were playing earlier tonight and had a few randoms connect. It’s not a lost cause.

I really like that your doing this. Their is not a better way to get opinions and feedback from not only your respected community, but the club as a whole. (bring it up at the meeting)

Hoping other staff would consider following your example,, i see alot of potential club improvement through things like this.

I did it at the end of my summer term and got quite a bit of feedback. It’s something I think the CLs (at the very least) should be required to do as you really do hear things that wouldn’t otherwise come up.
