Betting fixed. Same commands as before. I have some extra options now that we may look into enabling later.

Well it can seperate the users from the individual game stats if it wanted and if that’s an option with this system I can’t imagine us not moving to it. It’d be lightyears easier to work with.
It looks like all those servers are feeding to the same stats database and the stats are across all the servers. Now that’s probably not too big a deal but we’ll have to make sure the point system is fair and balanced and ensure that someone who only plays gungame can’t rack up more points than someone who plays only CS or CSS.
Yeah a system like that would require very little coding. A definate plus in my book.
I’m not sure how well having all of the servers in competition like that will work out but I’m definately game for testing it. Once we get the current issues fixed we’ll have plenty of time to test things and the next reset isn’t for a few months anyway.

The servers were empty. Like I posted in the other thread, unless something crashed and then magically fixed itself this isn’t something we can control.
This was not a game server related CPU load issue. There were a total of 20 players total across all our servers when this happened. Unless something drastic crashed and then magically fixed itself, this was caused by something else.
If I had access I would check the system logs but since I can’t I’d have to guess either a network issue or something system related on tron. Probably a network issue because the Left4Dead server only lost one of it’s players.
Any night can be a gungame night, just come grab people out of the regular CSS server and go have some fun.

She spends too much time trying to get attention and not enough time earning it. Alot of what she says is for the shock effect and while it does work and it does sell books, it doesn’t really help the party that much.

We need someone with Rush Limbaugh’s ideals and policies without the stigma associated with the Rush Limbaugh name.

Steele apologized because he made pretty hateful remarks to someone that over 1/3 of his party listens to everyday on the radio. It was extremely stupid and while Rush isn’t the party leader he is the de-facto head of the Conservative movement, a group the party cannot alienate if they intend to like, you know, get more votes than the Green Party in the next election. There’s no reason these two guys can’t be friends and my opinion is that Steele was just upset that someone else has more support from the foundation of the party than he does. Also, no one can really remember how or why he was made the party leader, this doesn’t help his standing either.
The deal with Rush and Obama is just the media blowing smoke to distract from the economy going down the toilet on Obama’s watch. Rush didn’t say he wanted Obama to fail, he said he wanted his socialist policies to fail. What the media can’t grasp about this the rest of us will never know. This entire media circus is about tying Rush to the republican party and then dragging him through the mud hoping it’ll make the party look bad. Those who don’t watch CNN/MSNBC don’t really get bombarded by this sort of liberal media bias, and that’s what it is at this point because this really isn’t anything new and it’s been said prior to Rush by many others in the conservative party. The media will run this through the pipe until either people start to realize that’s it’s not true or they change channels out of pure disgust at the same story reported over and over in slightly different vocabulary. Meanwhile REAL stories like judges being able to rewrite mortage agreements as they see fit and Obama’s new socialized healthcare initiative will be ignored.
And as far as leadership, the party has no leadership right now. We’re in the same boat as the democrats back in 2000 and 2004 and it’s going to take more than a few months to get our bearings again. What the party needs now is someone with a solid conservative background and the willingness to weed out those in congress who are registered republicans but voting democrats. That’s the one thing that seperates the two parties, the democrats are united in how they vote while the republicans have no idea who is really with them and who isn’t. We’ve fixed this problem in the House over the last few weeks but the Senate borderline republicans are still being traitors to their party and until we can get that negative influence out we won’t recover.

One alternative would be to just eliminate the first option and force people to pick a different number.
The release schedule for the map really isn’t up for debate. I’m not going to do anything to get our state owned servers taken away or *edited* off the people who got them for us.

For obvious reason it won’t immediately be going into the normal rotations but even in the development stage it’s in right now it’s an awesome map. When it’s ready it’ll be put on both servers for the CLs to pull up when the server mood is right.
Eventually I’d like to be able to get it into the general rotation, assuming Nix is ok with it and we find some way of not getting in trouble for doing it. I’m still working on the 2nd part.

Any interference leads to government control of sections of the economy and, as we’re now seeing, it’s a slippery slope that leads straight to government ownership of large sections of entire industries. I mean hell the government owns as much as 40% of some companies, all it takes is Obama to change the bailout agreement, which he’s already done once, and then the government magically has voting rights in companies. That’s a scary prospect but one that’s not too far off if we keep down this road.
