Anyway yea me and Ex experienced alot of lag on the server about 2 days ago actually had to get master p to reset it. It seems to be happening more often now for some reason. Not sure if anyone else has noticed this.

That or if its dropping packets or something. Cause something is causing it to lag at times just wondering if there is a corresponding time or reason to help find the root cause

Nope im a good lookin guy dont be jealous cuz I dont swing that way kamikaze. Anyways back to the issue at hand. It was epic lag that lasted for atleast 5 min and cleared the server out. After the server changed maps to contra and everyone was gone except me the lag stopped.

After the server changed maps to contra and everyone was gone except me the lag stopped. That sounds to me like the server cpu usage is peaking and having trouble handling all the clients on it. once the clients cleared and it was able to clear its backlog of items it returned to normal use. If someone has been tracking the cpu usage on it, it may help to see especially during peak hours. The only other idea I can come up with is bandwidth. But I would assume bandwidth is fine

We are aware of the problem but right now is spring break for WCU. Determining the root cause of these problems will take some time and trial and error.

ParticipantThis was not a game server related CPU load issue. There were a total of 20 players total across all our servers when this happened. Unless something drastic crashed and then magically fixed itself, this was caused by something else.
If I had access I would check the system logs but since I can’t I’d have to guess either a network issue or something system related on tron. Probably a network issue because the Left4Dead server only lost one of it’s players.
