I haven’t heard and we will probably only have time for 3 or 4 maps. So far I think gxti is leaning towards Contra, Inferno, and let the final two agree on a map.
Personally I think Contra is a bad idea for this LAN. A lot of people have never played it and this gives them a disadvantage from the very start of the tournament.

It isn’t by any means a final decision of any kind. We are just having trouble with admins who aren’t current on the latest situations. All you have to do is idle IRC or start posting again to get it back. This policy was voted in unanimously by the club. You are one of my favorite admins because you don’t start trouble. Just start idling IRC so I can get you back.
Should have started a different thread for it, can’t vote on that if you already voted for the kart.
We try to run the tournaments that we can give game support for. This doesn’t necessarily mean that we are for or against certain types of games. You are more than welcome to suggest a tournament for RTS to run during other PC Tournaments that people can opt to play instead of our official list. We would probably not be able to offer any prizes, however I am willing to work something out should our sponsors send enough. If you can get me a large enough group of people (min 16) who would rather play this type of game than counter strike, quake 3, etc be sure to let me know thru the website PM system. If the interest is there, I will be sure to make arrangements for it to happen.
There is now a $20 reward for whoever can come up with a finalized version of the Gaming Club t-shirt. This design must be accepted by either the executives or the club members at the next meeting.

That config is pretty cool for most people. Looking through it, it mostly just wants the game to run faster and less pretty. The pwnasaur does just fine with everything maxed out and the pwnasaur wishes to keep it this way
I actually randomly guessed 10,000 the other day when we were making the word filter. Cause I have esp apparently.
My recommendations are:
Buy a p228, it will save your life. (3rd pistol)
Always f1 autobuy cause you’ll forget to buy a kit at the most crappy moment.
If your rifle/smg runs out of ammo use q to fast weapon switch to your pistol. Reloading usually reorganizes your face in the worst possible way.
Don’t reload everytime you kill someone, they usually travel in packs.
Short and sweet bursts make for lots of head shots.
Running past a flash grenade can often counter its effects.
If you’re going to rush, don’t stop in a hallway or small room. This generally leads to your team getting raped within a few short seconds. On the same note, if you are on the team getting rushed, people generally stop in hallways and small rooms. This is what the HE grenade is for.
Watch the minimap, it tells you exactly what’s going on.
And last, make sure you’re talking to your team mates and they are talking to you. You put me on a team with Flakes or Brian, we can own another team with just the two of us by talking our way through the rounds.
And last again, talking puts a HUGE speaker icon over your head. Don’t talk and sneak; you give yourself away.
Excuse me but, our player limit is a lot lower and we’ve been having mad server crashing issues this month (now fixed). GG will never be as awesome as source.
