ParticipantI’m really against Double Dash, it is far too random and arbitrary in my opinion. Doesn’t have the balance that the 64 does. Otherwise I can bring a 64, the game, and three controllers up here for the LAN, maybe we can utilize that Big 50 inch plasma tv for it, or one of the projectors. We may need another controller as one of them has a sketchy acceleration button that doesn’t get up to top speed.
This may need to be moved to the LAN forums, or it might be better situated here, not sure. Do with what yall want.

ParticipantI also added 007 golden eye for the 64, as this was brought up at the last meeting… should be played just like halo.. we will be watching for “screen hacks”

ParticipantShould have started a different thread for it, can’t vote on that if you already voted for the kart.

ParticipantAlso make sure the joystick isn’t completely loose on the 64 controllers, that’s HUGE.

edit: poopy stick.

ParticipantI really think the defining map on Mario Kart 64 is Koopa Troopa Beach, with that *edited* short cut through the cave and out the water fall. Shrinking people as they go up the ramp while popping off gold mushrooms like they god or something, *edited*ing epic. God this really is the best game for pwning people at.

ParticipantI’m up for both of them.
I can bring a few decent controllers, a system, and both games if needed.
Also, I will bet any amount of money on that if a friend of mine shows up for the mario kart tournament, he will win.
