People have been waving around their e-peen low digit SteamIDs since Steam was released. NOBODY CARES WHAT YOUR STEAM ID IS. LOW ID != SKILL. The only time it would EVER be cool is if Loot got 1001 or 1007. That’s it. No other times, no exceptions. Not even 1337, in which case you’d just look like a jackass.
The newer XP Pro disks have the SATA drivers on them. I have to use it all the time at ResNet. Just look for an image of a newer XP Pro CD.
I’ll have the new rotation up probably tomorrow. I don’t want to remote into Tron through someone else’s unsecured wireless connection.
The answer is still no. We are a pub server not a competition server. If your admins are too dumb to catch people exploiting with skins etc, then we need some new admins.

Well according to that list, there is no cvar to change the spawn wait time. I’ll do some more digging.

I pugged with the AppState execs at CS:S and they suck pretty bad. As for Quake3, I made WCU proud and owned them hard.

I already have access. You need to build me a new map rotation. Needs to be at least 8-10 maps long.

Any news on this yet, I haven’t seen the server populated at all, at first I knew it was because of the settings. I’d love to start getting people in there. 45 min is too long for a map timer. I played an instant respawn (still about a 5-8 second delay) but it was good. The guy had some problems changing the settings to do so, he has a string of servers and sells them. I can try to get in contact with him if you guys can’t figure it out, IF you’d like to hit that road. Just wondering if maybe someone can devote some time to getting this server up to par with the other amazing wcu servers. Also is there anyway to make it at least 24 man? I think 8 v 8 is a lil small for some of these maps. Most of the better games i’ve played are 12v12 or at least 10v10. It’s just not very fun with 12 or 16 people. Not that it can’t be if they’re all wcu people, but if we can change it that might be nice. Of course I guess if it’s unpopulated there is no reason to change it yet.*side note – the friends like these achievements is not updated in the In-Game achievements, the actual achievement is to play on a team of 8 comprised of only people from your friends list. You can see this by checking out tf2 stats in your steam community then looking at achievements. I think that’s why we’ve been having problems getting it. ex. – WTFZORS!!! THERE ARE OVER 7 PEOPLE ON MY FRIENDS LIST ON MY TEAM….!!!!!>?!?!?!
I would be more than happy to change the server to 30 minute maps when I get back to campus tonight/tomorrow. It will stay 16 maxplayers until the server situation is worked out. Hopefully this will be soon, and I plan to work on that all this week. Once the Virtual Servers are gone, we shouldn’t have any problems at all running a 24 player TF2. These things take time to work out, and we aren’t going to do any off campus hosting for the primary gaming server. We have a $12,000 box, there is no reason to go out paying for another one. Once we get all the IT stuff worked out, things should start running a lot better (registry and lag) on ALL the WCU servers.
Also, as a former MAJOR TFC player, I”d much rather see the respawn time at 3-5 seconds. TF2 is supposed to be fast paced and a 12 second respawn is anything but fast. FIND ME THE CVAR. I don’t have time to go digging until later this week.
I’m here at the LAN having a blast. Wish you guys were here.
PS. Believe it or not, ours are more organized.

I mislead NO ONE. I do not even own a console…
Edit: Adambomb also admitted to practicing for 2 weeks prior. And I’m the cheater?
