I do not, I was only a lowly VP and TFC council leader at that time… I did vote for IPB though, good move IMHO.
I just beat all the advanced missions today, and got gold on fewest portals on chamber 13. I’ll keep you updated

About the classes, I don’t think there is an easy class, I think they did an amazing job of balancing every class out very well. You can say pyro but it’s still tough to dodge 4 plus rockets on your way in to burn, shotgun doesn’t do much. Spy I think is much more difficult without feign death and I hear that when you sap things it will take off your disguise which makes sense. So the ridiculous spy points of sapping over and over won’t happen as much. Sniper I don’t think is that easy, still more aiming involved than most classes other than soldier. Sniping is all about reflexes. Easiest class I think is obviously medic, if you can hold your button in and jump around like a zoso your pretty much set.

Don’t make me go off on you about TF. I’ve been playing since the original mod. Soldier is NOT easy mode. Spy/Pyro/Sniper are easy mode.
Soldier and Demoman take the most skill in the game to play correctly.

Mediacom is terrible. I live 3 miles from campus now and I average 60 ping. Nukedude lives a little over a mile with DSL and gets 70. Highspeed in Sylva/Cullowhee SUCKS.

Correction, in one circumstance diffusing through the wall IS legal. On de_chateau in b site, if the bomb is planted next to a wall, I don’t care if you diffuse through it. Everyone knows it can be done and I’m not punishing people for something I do all the time. Don’t be a retard and plant the bomb next to the wall…
Rates are easily enforced on the server side. All it takes is a couple of server cvars. It’s interp that I can’t enforce.

Turbophysics actually makes the server run faster. We tested it both ways (gxti and myself). I tried 75/75 and 66/66 before settling on 45. Just an FYI.
I had looked at season before and I don’t think it will make a good pub map. Strangley, all the cpl_ maps have been a big hit on WCUG. I haven’t looked at any of the others and I think if the world spawn problem is fixed in the new russka, it would be a worthy addition. I hear a lot of good things about villa as well. I’ll look at all of them soon.
As for my reasoning for no season, I think once the bomb has been planted, it takes too long to get from one site to the other. I tested it a lot with bots, where I would intentionally go to the wrong site, and try and cross and diffuse. It’s more of a time thing than anything else. What does everybody else think?
Dunno, once a map got corrupted on Aphrodite and I couldn’t figure out why the hell it kept giving those “Map differs from server blah blah” errors. Once I get some interwebs, I might just have to reupload the newest versions of everything I can find.
First of all, I would like to say that ma_rates is broken, something I’ve said 10,000 times before. Second, the client (I do believe) chooses their own optimized rates based on connection to the server. So long as they meet my server set minimums of 45/45, they can be whatever up to 101. I attempted to initially set the rates at 75/75 but this proved a bit overkill on those that were pushing the then 250 ping limit. An increase in rates will also increase your ping as some of you may or may not know. I believe that the 45/45 rates have INCREASED registry compared to what they were before I set those variables. This fight has been fought before and both Adam and myself have deemed the addons unnecessary server overhead. Unfortunately, I can’t control interp on the server side. You are still going to get shot beside the wall even though you managed to get behind it. You’re just going to have to yell at people for that one.
