I think you need less tournaments. I know that you want to play as many games as possible, but it’s really not feasible in the time span that we have. I have cut PC tournaments down to 4 total tournaments.
Read the forums my friend. Servers always go down for the LAN events. The day before I was trying to fix the d2 d2 problem and messed up the command line flags on the server launcher.
Official presidential amendment:
Class limits: 1 scout 1 engineer per team.
In the event of a stalemate: ALL PLAYERS will go scout and first cap wins.

I don’t want any of the current custom maps(Not sure what version of Mach we have) or Granary. Hydro can stay in the vote list.
The MOTD file needs to be edited so that it doesn’t say our server is a Valve Test Server… Also the above list, once all the maps are uploaded, should be listed in the MOTD as well. I don’t know what I have access to and what I don’t have access to.
The messages that flash across the screen in the top left corner cut off with a … and then are also read across the bottom in admin font. I don’t see the point of this, either we display the full sentence up top or show the sentence in admin text on the bottom. Pretty sure its the advertisement messages.
The above shouldn’t be hard to fix and needs to happen fast. I’d do it but I’m pretty sure I’m not allowed to make changes. After spending 2 hours playing on our server by myself and seeing the crappy custom maps we have on there it isn’t a surprise that nobody wanted to play on our server. In its current state our TF2 server is crap.
HLStats needs to be put on or something similar. If we do get stats put on, we should set it to 300 kills before a player gets full points. Naturally stats on TF2 are pointless but this will give new players a goal to achieve and keep them playing on the server longer.
The beetles mod seems to be pretty awesome. Using it on my own dedicated TF2 server and thus far (from my limited experience in these matters) I have been able to do everything I wanted.
-Respawn times 8-12 seconds
-Sudden Death Melee only and forces everyone into the same randomly selected class.
-Map Times are 20 minutes, 15 min extend, extend 2 times.
-Rotation based on voting, can’t vote the map last played.
-WCU logo in spawn rooms.
I really think the above additions to the server will really help populate it. Also something catchy in the server name (when players search for servers) once we do make the changes such as HLStats or 10sec Respawns.
Just some ideas.
I was just going to give away half of whatever we made on raffle tickets. More people will do it if they are going to win cash.
Hows about we use the door prize tickets as raffle tickets? Instead of giving them out we can just let people buy one for a buck.
Do you people seriously not read? The rates are enforced by the server. There are minimums that you HAVE TO HAVE. The only real exploit I can think of would be the standby exploit. Nothing that we can stop on our end but EXTREMELY easy to catch.

I think it should be 125. There are exploits of having 150 ping. Some which people use for unfair play on purpose. It sucks.
The new server enforced rates make it a lot harder to exploit latency.

Actually, forcing the monitor to display at a higher frequency than it is rated for will damage it. That’s why Windows will only let you go to 60Hz when you install the monitor specific driver. Forcing to something like 75Hz also voids your warranty in with some manufacturers.Even if net_graph says that you are at 1200 fps, (Mitch already knows this but others probably don’t) that’s what the card is pushing, not what the monitor is displaying.
