Also, I can scale it if necessary. It still needs to start out farily small preferably 50×50 or smaller.

The 1.6 server has been unbearable yesterday and today. Other than the past few days, whenever it lagged it was fine bc the lag spike would come and go after a couple of minutes. But yesterday and today, pings are shooting up toward 300-600 and the lag seems to stay for a good 30 minutes. Can someone please look into this and fix this?When was the last time TRON was fully rebooted? Normally I’m 100% against restarting a production server, but when it’s having problems and it’s running Windows, naturally the first thing to do would be to reboot it.
And a friendly reminder that if you do reboot it, the restart button is your enemy (unless you got someone in networking on standby for a hardlock).
People fail to realize that other cultures do things differently and when you go to another culture you accept to do things their way or look like a total *edited* when you refuse to do so. I mean look at Canada, they drink milk from bags. They do some weird *edited* in other countries.

The bad thing is services like Neflix. If I stream multiple movies from Netflix every month that’s multiple GBs of information. If TWC starts charging for that bandwidth companies like Netflix, who’s business will be hurt, are going to be mega *edited*ed. Will that be enough? I guess we’ll find out.

The original churches map with the tunnels instead of the surf crap. There are a billion texture maps that you can use also. The easiest thing to do would be to join a different gun game server, play for an hour or 2 and use some of those maps.
Dust2 and office are surprisingly good gun game match maps. They were REALLY awesome on 1.6 with random spawn points. Maybe you could find a dust2 and office with random spawns?

Yes. It will automatically generate a new one when you go to play again.

The as_ gametype isn’t built into source (*edited* I know). It would be too much trouble to institute this.

Deathmatch is what makes gun game fun. If it wasn’t on DM and wasn’t fast paced it would just be *edited*ing counter strike all over again.

CS1.6 doesn’t use hardly any resources as it is compared to the source based servers. Another 3% won’t make a difference.When it was 32 slots and packed it was at 32% average.

Well since I was told that it was a cpu problem, having to keep track of the location and inputs of 4 more players and process everything that those players do from taking a step to holding the walk key, I think adding player slots is a bad idea. I mean look at the logs and that’s probably 1/3 of what the cpu actually has to process.
