need more info. What kind of motherboard do you have? What is your OS? Are you running the installer or trying to install the drivers manually via device manager?

That is the chipset, not the motherboard.

Try manually installing the drivers from device manager. Find the audio driver and tell it to search in a specific location then point it to where the driver is and see if that works.

You need to make sure you remove any existing drivers before you use the installer. That’s probably an AC97…

Remove all drivers and open a command prompt. Type ‘sfc /scannow’ no quotes obviously.

Either a launch parameter or a locked config file.

If you browse to “C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\<username>\Counter-Strike Source\cstrike\config” there will be a file called config.cfg. Open it in wordpad, and change any options you want. Then save it and right click on it. Go to properties and click the read-only checkbox. Then you are winrar and CSS can no longer change anything by itself.

You may have to google it and manually add it. There are a lot more things than those that are in the file that you can add in.
