1.6 server during this time had 21/29 people on awp_dust. Source server had 24/25 people in it. L4D server had 8/8 people in it. TF2 server was empty. Source GG server had 3(4)/20 people.
1.6 server just crashed on awp_dust. Server was lagging hard between 7-7:15. Pings went from 100s to 200s before the server finally crashed :weird:

If the map doesn’t crash the server, then DO IT! But only for 15 minutes please! Did someone upload a new scoutzknivez file?
Yes Adam37 I understand the higher the better. That’s why I referenced it. I was saying since the server is getting more popular, we should try to fix the lag.
Server just crashed. There were 12 people in it and I put up a vote for fy_dustworld to see the new map. The vote won and we were switching maps…I’m sorry!
On the gametracker website, the WCU 1.6 server jumped up from the 59th percentile to the 89th percentile in the past 3 weeks. If it is possible to reduce the lag in the 1.6 server using current resources, shouldn’t that solution be pursued? It’s very discouraging to see people leave the server when the server is full and it starts to lag :sad01_anim:

Even when the economy was good, people weren’t buying “American” cars. Why pay more money for GM or Chrysler cars when you can pay less money for other brands and get higher quality? Well obviously the auto industry in the US didn’t innovate well. Its their fault that they focused on SUVs all this time. Their business strategy failed big time. I thought we were talking about GM and the auto industry man…you brought up Wall Street and the housing market out of nowhere dude. And you talk like an additional 50 cents per ride means nothing? NYC is one of the hardest hit cities in the entire country due to the huge financial sector here plus the high cost of living here.
The 1.6 server has been lagging hard and it’s unfortunate b/c the server is starting to get really packed again. Theoretically, if the wcu source gungame server shut down would it help the 1.6 server lag less? I’m not advocating for the source gungame server to be shut down. I’m just wondering how this stuff works.

I agree with MasterP on the auto bailout. The auto industry in the US had a chance to leapfrog the competition a couple of decades ago but they couldn’t hold onto the top spot. Giving more money to companies like GM and Chrysler is useless. Obama needs to give more money to NYC! $2 bus/subway fee going up to $2.50 in June?!??!! WTF!!!!!!!
Well I prefer the Yankees over the Mets and I prefer the Giants over the Jets. But if the Mets and Jets both reached the WS/Superbowl, I would be happy. Does that make any sense?
And yes the Knicks have sucked for the past 10 yrs or so…I have a theory on that. They suck it up every other decade! In the 70s the Knicks were good. In the 80s they sucked *edited*. In the 90s they were good. Right now they are sucking. So between 2010-2020, they will be good again… :whistle:

Good idea on upping the slots! Wouldn’t 28 slots be a better number though? 14v14 instead of 15v14?
These maps were doing bad the last couple of weeks but lately the server’s been really packed. Adam37 when you make the next rotation later down the road, can you include more official maps on it? =)
Is the WCU stats page down? Or is it being reset? The link says “Fatal Session Error at line 259: ERR 1046: No database selected”
