My ping is pretty high right now. No porn downloads or anything, no one else is home. I’m pretty sure it’s nothing on my end. My ping’s normal everywhere else.
It’s a pretty steady 110.
Apparently the WCU network has had sum issues recently… i dunno if they still have them, or whats going on now, but

the server right now is currently lagging. It will totally give me a “connection problem” error, although my connection is fine. The server had 15 or so people in it when it lagged, came back and there was 2. Got back in and it still lags me out.

The server is now trying to enforce cl_updaterate 40 for some reason.
This is stupid and serves no real purpose.
If you want to enforce a limit, you should it put it back down to 30, or better yet 20. There is no reason to force it to 40 or more unless u only want people with super computers and fiber optic lines to play at the server.
i have no idea what cl_updaterate does ne more,, but its annoying as hell change it every single map.
BTW: WCU is on a fiber pipe
can you give admins the power to do a votemap with more than 14 players? its absurd that the admins are entrusted with that kind of responsibility and in a pub that has some, well, not so good players. if its obvious that most players want to stay on that map, then a votemap shouldnt be considered, but when over 20 minutes has gone by on a 30 minute map, play gets boring and thats when an admin should step in. i dunno i just feel that its really hypocritical to say admins rule all, dont give them attitute bla bla bla, and then say that they cant do something as basic as a votemap. if an admin cant handle the responsibility of knowing when and when not to start a vote then they probably dont deserve to be an admin
I think the only maps that are set to 30 minutes are the popular maps, i.e. dust2, inferno, and nuke. Everything else is between 15-20.
30 minutes for a popular map seems fine. Some other servers have maps that last for 45 minutes or 1 hour. Now that’s just ridiculous…
I dont know if its due to the new rotation or the css deathmatch server but the server yesterday was very laggy to the point where the entire server would jump from 70ish pings to 190+ pings this happened enough throughout the day that I just decided to scrim more than play in the server. Please figure out whats going on with Tron and fix this…k thx bye <3

im pretty sure i didnt touch it, it might have just been a mistake when Liam redid all teh forum groups, being that if you are in the admin forum group you are admin on teh server

Is the WCU stats page down? Or is it being reset? The link says “Fatal Session Error at line 259: ERR 1046: No database selected”
