i noticed last night / later afternoon there was some good activity in the server! keep it up and keep it populated.. only ppl i recognized is tiggle.. WHERE YOU AT ADMINS

its not herbals rotation on the server???.. i played one rotation of fy_snow and some train then peaced. so maybe? either way its a little better
Unless it’s changed since the last time I played (which was probably like a week ago), it’s not herbal’s rotation. It’s a shorter one that consists of the popular maps. I think we just need people to sit in the server so more people will join. The maps aren’t bad; it’s just that no one wants to join an empty server.
Yea I’ve been sitting in the server mostly from like 3pm-8pm these days. A lot of people seem to love the custom maps. Yesterday I put on fy_stoneworld, fy_pool_day, fy_iceworld2k and the server was so packed for awhile. I also noticed that office and westwood are population killers =(
Office is awesome. The thing about playing a bunch of custom maps is you’re luring in players who like custom maps; maybe even people who like ONLY custom maps. Once they start playing our rotation, which consists mostly of regular maps, they’re gonna leave.

No it is not herbals rotation, but it is a rotation that most people like/play
The 2 reasons for the server population increase is a few very nice admins help populate it during slow times and we have more redirects now, which bring in a huge crowd

Redirects from where? I’d be on more if I didn’t have work to do. (And I know I check the forums pretty often, but I think it’s not as bad as being stuck on a game for a few hours, haha.
)Server was pretty laggy today between 4pm-5pm. The 1.6 server had 20 people during this time and I noticed that the source server is pretty packed right now (23/25)…what is going onnnnn

redirect: bascially you seee a server in your que or w/e.. and it will say TEAM 3d PUB or AWSOME SERVER>. and when u click to connect instead of going to that server it connects you to wcu server. it like starts connecting then restarts -> that is the redirect…. so ppl dont know they will be joining the wcu server but they do.
and alot of ppl are clueless, like the CCCP dood. i’m pretty sure he has added the redirect to his fav list lulz
I don’t think we do. I think we’d be getting more people randomly joining the server. But sometimes it’s just empty for a while before someone joins.
I’m debating whether I should install Steam on my laptop. I’ve been staying away from the games except for on breaks, but now I’m tempted to install Steam or Starcraft…

Hahaha. I dunno… I really wanna play SC. I used to play day in and day out until CS finally took over me completely. I miss it.
