So its been brought to my attention that /rank and /rankstats are not linking to the same stats. How can we fix this?

ur welcome to discuss anything in the regular 1.6 forums, this is just to organize everything partly for me and partly so that u guys can quickly alert me if something goes fubar

I would like to suggest… to add Music, when your connecting to the server. Its kinda fun to listen to something that to nothing. and not full songs just 20-30 sec cause first you would have to download long and then u don’t need full.

 

BTW if u need songs i could download

Songs when connecting? I don’t think the game supports this. Maybe songs AFTER you’ve connected but at that point wouldn’t it *edited* you off if half of your first round was drowned out by music instead of gameplay?

i hate joining servers that have music playing while you are downloading…. it makes connect times so much slower… or so it seems

Sooo, yesterday, herbal told me that people were flashing like crazy on the server during awp_dust (and then I think Major joined, but herbal didn’t say if he did anything, he was just ranting about someone). Are we going to update the map or whatever so that you can’t buy anything except a pistol?

It should be updated, cause a lot of slays/bans might have to be handed out.

I agree. Whenever I’m connecting to servers with music playing in the background, I get so *edited*ed off. The music is so crappy most of the time! It’s usually horrible techno/trance music!

we should keep d2 idle when there are no players in the server. im not quite sure how to do that but people tend to flock to servers if d2 is playing and they get low ping

This is true. That would be kinda cool to have it set to d2 like all the time, until people come in. Then the maptime kicks in and the rotation begins. I don’t even know if that’s possible, though.

itd be nice when people die and they drop their nades…..used as bait or just to be able to nade spam with mad nades all over the ground

i think dank is right. if we do little things like make it so you can pick up nades from dead guys or have betting on the winner of a sudden death then we can increase population

I like having 1 nade. It makes it challenging since you have to use it wisely.

Yeah I’m going to look into this after I get off of work tonight.

The admin vote map thing is dumb.

It should require at LEAST 50% of the people to vote FOR to accept a result.

 

Got 4 votes FOR out of 9 people and accepted.

Picking up nades off dead bodies is so unbelievably scrub. Might as well add one of those gore mods so when you kill someone they blow up. Add some WC3 as well. Maybe some hook mod?! LOL

Also, I think buying still needs to be disabled on awp_dust.
