At the same time a brilliant Soldier and a brilliant medic are pretty much unstoppable. I’ve seen Medic/Soldier combos run maps, especially if the team defending against it isnt tip top.

A decent turret defense though seems to stop them, because even ubered they get bounced around too much by the explosions and the rounds to do enough damage.

I love me some Dustbowl. Though I’ve never tried any of the stuff you described above. Might just have to though.

Of course. I played it on my friend’s 360. It was released on both and believe there was word that it might have a PC port as well.

Ah, I’ll miss seeing you in IRC and playing Triviabot, Rice. Take care of yourself and hopefully we’ll see you back on sometime.

Yeah, teams did end up being very fun. :D It’d work well in DOD:S too.

I played a fair chunk of it along with my friend who bought the game. It was fun, but things got old as the game dragged on. Especially since it is the same thing every time, only slightly altered in scenario. Not to mention that the story, while interesting, was boring as all hell in delivery. I want cut scenes where things happen, not me standing there staring at fixed camera angles for five minutes while the characters do nothing but blab on and on.

Repetition is the name of the game, though it was still fun and I really liked the one guy you have to kill

The crazy Teutonic Templar with the demon helm. Though I kept falling in the water trying to kill him which really *edited*ed me off.

My friend bought it on Black Friday. I wasn’t really paying much attention to it in the car, but from what I heard and remember I liked it. And most of it seemed a little catchier than a lot of the stuff that was on Demon Days.

Hey I thought for DOD:S maps we were just using the same rotation as last lan?

They are (unless I’ve gone mad and something changed). I believe Kuros just asked me to post the list from last time. I havent done that yet.

I don’t know much about the technical aspects, but I think it looks cool without the extra rectangle addition extra junk. Just not worth the cash monies though methinks.

Ah, excellent. I hope for a nice healthy rotation though. Not to many maps being overplayed. I like to see it mixed up now and again.

If the rest of the crew (Flakes, Zap) want to come I wouldnt mind coming. No guarantees, but I could bring cups or something if we decide to come.

I find your lack of 2Fort disturbing.

It is seriously one of my favorite maps, I’d be more than a little disappointed if it weren’t there. And why no Hydro?

I havent played CSS since TF2 came out. And though I havent even been playing TF2 (for reasons beyond my control) I just havent been able to bring myself to pick back up the M4.

Though I was just thinking about it about 5 minutes ago. Can’t remember why I decided against it.

I’m not totally sure, so Kuros probably knows better than I.

But last time I was on the map vote came up, everyone voted, and it seemed like the majority went Dustbowl. Then the vote stopped and claimed that 2Fort won with 2 votes. Clearly not the majority.
