Oh yeah. I plugged up to that thing and had no clue what was happening. I enjoyed that one quite a bit.
I just shacked up in the Citadel last night before I got too tired to keep playing. I’m hoping to find some extra power armor laying around now that I can finally use it.
Also, I desperately need more caps. I’m tired of not being able to afford things like mini-nukes.
Pretty BIG SPOILER here about the main storyline, btw. So tread lightly. I know I’d be annoyed if I read it before it happened.

DAD DIED! : ( I didnt think he would. And he totally pulled a Spock. As soon as he put his hand on the door, I said to my self, “You are, and always will be, my friend.”
Oh no. I made the deal with Arefu. Blood packs in exchange for being left alone. I didnt want to push it with asking for protection too.
I meant I finished off all of those questlines!
I’m on my way to Vault 112 now. Had to deal with the Raider’s and their captured Berserker super mutie last night in the camp near the vault. *edited*s, didnt realize I could go around them to the vault.
Mines only around 50 at the moment.
I’m walking along the coast line to Rivet City now to find my Dad since I want to avoid the inside of the city, but I’m not sure it’s any safer. So far I havent had much in the way of side quests since I finished off all the Arefu, Family, and most of the Megaton side quests (including defusing the bomb. I’ma good guy!).
I had to watch the video that explained the details of sex and then showed us a woman giving birth to a small troll….erm baby.
Actually yeah, it looked like a troll.
Then she explained to us the alternatives to traditional sex…and well, I dunno. She was a strange lady with very strange tastes.
Not bad. I just got my Fatman a little while ago. Now I’m busy getting lost in the city trying to find the Museum of Technology.
I spent nearly 30 minutes mashing the quicksave button and running around with only 15 health and fighting Talon Mercenaries and Super Mutants with mini guns. Fun times that was!
It’s awesome. I just got finished running around helping Arefor and the Family while killing some Super Muties and working with Big Town.
Now I’m back on the main questline again and heading into the city itself.
One thing though…the vampire thing…neccesary? It just feels like Oblivion again with that tossed in.
I bought it. Couldnt help myself. And now I’m installing it.
God, it wont install fast enough. You should rename this the Fallout 3 thread, or we should have a new one so we can share what we’ve done and what we see. Help each other, etc. etc.
I like the registration page. It looks nifty.
And if Gears 2 shows I wouldnt mind trying my hand at it and see what they’ve done.
Although I was thinking about it a lot and was wondering if he’d be able to start rebuilding Rapture. He’d need help, which would explain why more people would be in Rapture, and since the facilities to create Big Daddies exists that would make reason for them to be stomping around still. And perhaps he missed a few the first time in the depths of Rapture that have since gone into disrepair, still lurking in the darkness in search of their lost Little Sister, ready to lash out at any threat that looms in the deep…
And maybe the reason for the Little Sister going back to Rapture was she got pulled into it by people wanting to go back and stop it (People angry after the Splicers got cut loose? People afraid of the power of Rapture? Or greedy for it?) and then decides to take him down for vengeance or perhaps after the party she is with is wiped out.
Grrrr. See what happens, my mind goes crazy thinking of these things and now I want more Bioshock NOW!
That actually makes a decent plot Ephraim. Except I hated the bad ending in Bioshock. It seems to be lacking compared to the good ending and I never liked the idea of the main character being that much of a douche (but that’s because I injected most of my own morals into the character making me emotionally invested in his well-being).
Plus, you’d have to remember that with the bad ending the Splicers are free from Rapture and on that sub, which means they probably have access to the mainland.
Also, they’d have to open up the rest of Rapture if we returned to it because it wouldnt be nearly as interesting trudging through the same places again. And there’s the fact that the city was already falling apart and the fact that you beat the hell out of the main power generator wouldnt help. That place was pretty much collapsing in on itself by the end of the game.
And there’d be almost not Big Daddies since you killed them all.
Actually…on second though let’s not go back to Rapture. It’d be a silly place.
(Fan Speculation about this game excites me. More! There must be more!)
Just since I’m curious, what have you been trying?
And I’m not being critical, believe me, I tried to populate two servers already and one of the was TF2.
Aw, I don’t own formal wear. It’s a nifty idea though and I like the idea of a contest involving costumes or what not.
I dunno. Figures as soon as I find something new it’s taken down.
