All the freeness in the world will not make Silk Road’s grinding fun.

Don’t be too proud of this spamological terror you’ve constructed; the ability to spam is insignificant next to the power of the Force.

Ah! Activity in the DoD forum?!

If it’s still there it’s named just like the CS:S server. Western Carolina University Day of Defeat Sever. Or whatever. WCU is in the name somewhere.

I don’t know if it’s still up since I haven’t played since I left. But, there was almost no activity before summer so I don’t know how much there would be now.

I had it installed about 3 weeks ago. Until I finished it.

Aye, it’s an exaggeration. But, it still isnt fun either.

That was my only complaint about the game when I played it. Grinding gets old, really fast.

“Oh, I need some Blue Bug Bladders. Go fetch them for me and I’ll give you this ring that isnt really that good, but it’ll do.”

New Quest Acquired. *opens it up and reads it*

“Go find 40,000 Blue Bug Bladders.”

    12 hours later.

“Hm, it appears as if I have found 3/40,000 of my quest item.”

Sounds like fun doesnt it?

I wasnt really impressed since I figured it’d just be a rocket double kill. Of course, when I saw what happened I was pretty amazed!

That Sheriff guy always cracks me up.

    “The Bavarian built hot rod!”

“Like he was going for the high score in some video game!”

And I love all the cheesy wheel screeching noises that cars always seem to make in those shows.

Well, I watched it in about 4 sittings, but the fact that I still watched the whole thing means it’s pretty good!

I had an idea that along with the small fliers you could have a couple of bigger fliers to put in major traffic areas that had the schedule for events on it (IE: Begins at X time, CSS at X time, Halo at X time, etc.).

That would probably cost more money and the schedule would need to be ironed out well in advanced so that may not be a good idea.

    To MasterP:

The WCU server played Contra fairly often and I played quite a few that had 11-12 people per side.

    For a suggestion:

Since we have a whole year ahead of us perhaps we can see if we can’t get enough support to bring more RTS games into the mix for the LANs.

“Cool, just a warning though. That game is very addictive and you’ll find yourself playing it for hours on end.”

That’s no lie. I’ve played four characters. Beaten the main quest twice and the other quests 4 or so times. That’s not a lot compared to some I’m sure, but it still is a testament that the game is good enough and addictive enough to keep bringing you back.

Not to mention the best part about it is that I always find new things when I play through or even playing older characters.

I’m always looking for a DoD game. Like Falcon said, just let me know when you play and I’d be willing to jump on.

I would if I actually had a decent computer, but alas.

I’ve played the 360 version quite a bit and also played Knights of the Nine. My friend, who owns it, doesnt want to buy Shivering Isles though so I wont get to play that one.

I don’t imagine that would be too hard. I mean, I guess taking a plane would be easier. But would it be more fun? Heck no.

I got Garry’s Mod yesterday and it proceeded to make me forget everything else I planned to do all day long.

Yeah, I knew you did. If you get it reinstalled we should play a few rounds. I’ll need to get your disc back to you to.

What exactly is Team Fortress (*hides in fear of projectile bombardment from fans*)?

I’ve heard a lot of hype surrounding the sequel and I’m tempting to get it simply because what I’ve seen looks cool but I have no idea what it actually is.

I noticed that no one has mentioned the glory that will be Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. Shame on you.

I don’t have a Ps3 though. I don’t have enough monies for such a thing at this time.
