I actually went against my own advice today by disguising as a Heavy to make it look like I was defending the intel on 2Fort. I had to sit there for about five minutes while the Engineer stared at me and I pretended to be looking for people, but it worked out nicely in the end.
So, patience is the key there as well.
I have to agree. Any class that requires you to directly interact with other players (Medic mostly) or run at the enemy like a maniac (Heavy for example) usually isnt a good idea. Because they’ll shoot at you just for walking funny most of the time.
On 2Fort I’ve had a lot of success as a Sniper and Engineer for example. People expect you to hang back.
He knows what he’s talking about though. And I honestly do not disagree with anything he said.
I personally prefer the shorter respawn time myself as it keeps the action going and makes sure no one is sitting around waiting. While 10-15 second doesnt seem like a very long time it still feels it sometimes.
What is the map time limit currently on? (Forgive my ignorance!) And I agree wholeheartedly with there being MORE CTF maps.

I know. I’m pretty sure I was overdue this time though. A few lazy days slip by and suddenly, wabbajam, there’s all this extra hair up there.

I think my sensitivity is around 3.5 or 4.
I’m glad they finally put it up on Steam. I like it better that way and I can add it to my collection of “Meet the” videos for future viewing!

I assume he won’t mind me passing that on.I too think it would be great it we could sort out the power and connection things earlier for the next LAN. While I was kind of expecting to be sitting around (After all, it did happen last time too) it still sucks to be bored to tears for a good solid couple of hours.
Otherwise, I had a lot of fun with what I participated in and am really looking forward to the next LAN.
