Dont worry guys, he will never have admin again. But i think its interesting to have his outlook. He has been around this club for about 2 -3 years now and has had many bans. I dont know if he will grow up but who cares we can always ban him back. I think he wants to play cod4 so .. because its dead i see no harm.

In the beginning there was a gaming club inplace by AITP the CIS department club. They told us the idea would never work and that we are out of place. Do not have this attitude to what they are trying to accomplish, just ask that next time have us pitch in and help. simply say “we can make it bigger” Really big! We need all the alliances that we can get. This is a good start.
we have had a long record for forgiving admins as long as they understand the mistake that they made and that they did something bad and promise not to do it again.
like .. really do you guys think we should ban for that little mistake?
it depends on how many fragmented packets are on the box. Defrag moves files around the hard drive and does some really cool things when it finds fragmented packets. There is not good accurate time guess.
My guess is 3.43 hours
good solution. They are on the cal site and i see players using it all the time.
we may just change stats programs or something. It may take time to look into this. Don’t expect it to get done overnight.

You might as well trash that entire thread and not even bother making the new admins sign it because it’s been proven that they don’t mean anything. Server population is not everything, there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes as Bitey is slowly but surely beginning to learn. When I took over, the club went into a rut, I’m not surprised to see it do the same with Bitey and it’s not his fault at all, it’s just the way it goes. But rather than ignore what I have to say after running this club for two years, I’d like to think that my opinion on matters at least counted for something. It has been made obvious to me however, that they do not. That is why I removed my executive permissions and rejoin the masses as a mere member. There is no point in submitting opinions that are going to be ignored. I’m not going to waste my time.Please dont think that what you post goes unread .. read most of the posts. I think it would make it stick out more if we had an app that would be a “ask for a change app” so you can submit something you would like changed/overturned. I know we talked about it in the past. Maybe then things wont get overlooked.

i guess only time will tell. But if one person wants it to fail they can have alot of pull.. which side are you on man?

Agreed. If you’re going to reset the server, do it at 3-5am when you know no one is going to be using it. Aphrodite and TRON are both production servers and are rarely given the respect that comes with that title. Unless there is something quantifiably wrong with the server there is no reason to touch it at all and there is absolutely no reason to RDP into it unless something major is wrong.here is the response when i asked him why it was restarted.

having that said if mysql was crashing then .. i would have restarted it also if i found something on google that says it might fix it.
Why dont you state exactly what was done wrong and what you think should be done about it. Say it in one sentence or less.
Remember that we can impeach people. However if you are going to hang out other people laundry to dry, you may have yours tossed in the fire. Be careful with your words.
On a side note this thread is trash ..
— adding a store mod to the site, I will look up random gear and try to make it as cheap as we can. I think we want to use them as marketing resources instead of a profit.

— Talk about derrick leaving the club, make sure everyone understands what happen. So we can learn from this if nothing else.
— Lan signup. Get some ideas for what we want it to look like. Differences between a developed app and a one size fits all form. (Having it come it as a forum thread instead of signup database or both for sorting and public viewing)?

— Discuss where we are on the 6 week schedule, how are we doing?

I plan on doing a call in for this meeting. Hopefully Nodizzle with hook me up with a call, he normally does. I will let AMerrill know about the meeting and he may come. He will be there for the lan.
