Adam FaulknerParticipantmake sure people go. I think this is a good time to pass out flyer’s.
In the beginning there was a gaming club inplace by AITP the CIS department club. They told us the idea would never work and that we are out of place. Do not have this attitude to what they are trying to accomplish, just ask that next time have us pitch in and help. simply say “we can make it bigger” Really big! We need all the alliances that we can get. This is a good start.

ParticipantJust got back. It went really well. Everybody was real friendly and the whole thing was very possitive. I was in the Smash Bros tournament. Unfortunately, Toon Link knocked me out in the first round (first as Bowser, then as Lucas). Still, I think my skills have improved quite a lot since the last LAN and another week of practice should do a lot of good. My friend John was also there. In his first Smash Bros round, he was set up against a ten-year-old kid. I told him, “No pressure, but if you lose, we can’t be friends anymore.” He won. In the end, it was John vs. Crandal (the guy who beat me). Crandal won both rounds. The first was Toon Link/Toon Link. The second was Toon Link/ROB. Here’s a tip for the next LAN: if you want to stand any chance in the Smash Bros tourney, get really good with Toon Link. The character is a beast. He’s this game’s Captain Falcon. Crandal won both tourneys and all the prizes. He was really nice about it; he gave John a thermal cup and me a keychain.
Also, a guy asked me about the club, and I directed him to the forums. I am a good member!

ParticipantNope. I think I was the only member in attendance. There was lots of talk about it, though.
