Spectatori learned my noscoping in cs:s by playing lots of scoutzknivez against people that were ridiculously good… i never had time to scope in and set up a shot, by then i was dead, so i got used to just laying out “cover fire” noscoping… nowhere near as effective as in any other game, as they can very well still stay aimed straight on through impact, but it keeps them out of the doors sometimes… but then like they be sayin i got a feel for where it’d hit. if you want some practice, start a one-man server of your own just over LAN and use the crosshair spray and tag a wall at the end of a long runway and noscope at it while running, crouching, standing, walking, etc… or just go ballsy and try noscoping through a great many deaths and you’ll catch on

and for me, even at my best, noscoping the scout was 50% skill and 50% pure dumb luck… but it’s better than my chances of not getting shot while i’m setting up a proper scoped shot, so you won’t catch me scoping.
on occasion, I’ll grab an awp off a corpse that I just knifed… just for lulz… if i’m behind the whole other team then i’ll stop and scope in, but otherwise i try to noscope it and i’m still terrible. i can’t even hit them anywhere…

Spectatoreh, just $0.02 if parking is the only reason for second thoughts – this probably will result in a firm “No.” but maybe ask up the chain and see if there is some way we can declare a period of special event parking in the Central lot… same idea as them running off freshman from the football lot for gameday.
the most they can do is say no, point, and laugh…
but after being around leatherwood i am well aware that they are not afraid to (sometimes unannounced) close off regular student parking spots.

Spectatorah, lovely

birds drink rain?nah, dude, they kno where to get the good stuff…
out in my front yard there’s some grape vines, and when the grapes fall off and get all fermented the birds gobble ’em up like you wouldn’t believe, it’s so funny seeing birds passed out in the yard.

Spectatori personally think no map is sided, just depending on the community’s popular strategies one side may have a regular strategy that is ruining them. i.e. I’ve seen CT’s absolutely roll T’s on cs_assault when they work together, as opposed to the usual smoke war + awpfest that has noone wanting to play ct ever again

just my slightly off-topic $0.02

well, the actual official version of xchat is going to require money if used on windows, go with silverex.org or another build if you want to use it.
then there’s always the java client at http://www.wcugaming.org/irc.php.
and too, if you happen to use linux, just google linux irc clients, there’s a freakin million of them.
other than that i don’t know others by name…
i do know that some multifunction programs like trillian and gaim/pidgin will cover irc as well.
and you could always google it. particularly i would try “open source irc client” or “GPL irc client”, as those will be entirely free, or theoretically “free irc client” should turn up some good programs

Spectatorjust my $0.02, from my experience of one class toward a teaching major and the field experience, I’ve learned that teachers is supposed to be especially tolerant of kids with special needs and that the first priority that they want a teacher to do is pass along concerns and all up the hierarchy of the educational system, in this case likely to the principal or school counselors, and not to make a scene of it like this… Now, if they had gone up the hierarchy several times to no success, and had no luck talking with the parents, I could see this taking place (not that it’s appropriate), but I seriously doubt that administration would just idly watch a struggling teacher, especially at that level.

hahaha, no kiddin bout matthews bein a small world… my sis is just down the road and around the corner in charlotte, no idea how many times we been there doin shopping stuff already. the center at their corner of 485/pineville-matthews is much more recognizable and affordable than other stuff we went byactually i take that back, it was the pineville side of things that i was thinkin of, but the matthews side did have target
been there a couple times too alreadyFalcon
Spectatorbahaha, no not pronz… just my sis’s computer. funny thing, it restarted and has a taskbar all good and well. still, windows shouldn’t just forget to draw the effing taskbar.
an the sis insists she’s using the 3 things you be seein… /shrugs.
an the black bars are just from mspaint, added to keep my sis’s name concealed.
Falcon
Spectatorrofl thx guys… depending on how things add up when i try to get some travels, i might be back in charlotte some day so i can catch an early mornin flight out or if i catch a late flight back, and if so, i’ll most definitely give ya’s a ring. i would right nows but i’m workin on a mile long to-do list out here wit my sis
anywho, i’m not gonna end up stranded in charlotte, as i thought, but possibly stranded for an extended period of time in teh back corner of the woods…
if i don’t pull off a small miracle and get out and travel around to sufficiently investigate GA/TX soon then i will likely be in said back corner of the woods till late june/early july?

Spectatorrofl dangit…
j/k j/k it’s the sis’s computer and i blacked out her i.d. and that’s just a camera picture wallpaper on the background

and i’m committed, i’ll change my destructive habits when i get moved later this summer, i hopes

Falcon
Spectatormy sis just moved to charlotte, and depending on how today goes i may be stranded there
Falcon
Spectatormaybe me and vista just seriously don’t get along, but i’m telling you, i’ve seen more problems than one would expect.
one example you can see for yourselves… this is on my sis’s laptop, her taskbar is there but not drawing. if you hover the mouse over it in the right places, you can still get teh popups for date and time, etc, and the window previews, and you can click on anything on it. you just can’t see it.
(in this screenshot the mouse is hovering over where the sound icon should be, or is, depending on how you look at it.)

Spectatori’m using the WD mybook home edition 750gb… works really well. i haven’t even tried to find its backup software tho, from windows i just use its backup stuff to literally back up everything, and from linux i’ve about hammered out a good script for that
Falcon
Spectatorone thing that you might could find would be getting a crapton of stickers to make it look shiny if that’s what you’re after with the case change

Falcon
Spectatoreven birds drink…

Falcon
Spectatoraye, and i return, only briefly, once again… this move is going to be much more complicated than i thought on the family front…
in theory, i was going to go visit GA and TX and pick one and move, as is still the plan, but through that I was gonna just uhaul it (or other smaller rental truck from, say, Avis or Hertz or Enterprise or wherever) and move in one attempt on my own…
long story short my sis has moved to charlotte to a job and an apartment i think not last week but week before, and was gonna try to do just one trip… today we’re making the 4th or 5th trip down there and she still has no bed coz despite the fact that that’s been my sis’s first priority, my mom keeps on just shopping for decorative stuff and then she gets to the point where she’s gonna have to go ahead and leave coz she’s in charlotte too late and has to get home… if that’s to be any example of what i’ve got ahead of me, i’m gonna go nuts.
so for the next couple days, there’s a chance I could end up stranded in charlotte to go ahead and take my own initiative to help my sis out, if this repeats itself, and I’ll just have to wing it on summer plans from there… i really hope not, but if that becomes the case, life’ll get really interesting
and when i hit the road to move, no questions asked i’m renting something (small car, small truck, or big truck depending on how much i have to move), putting my stuff in it, and leaving the parents home…
Falcon
Spectatori’m in town to do some shopping and do some college and job research online… just wanted to toss out there what i be lookin at so often now… ’tis nice, i must admit, but there be no people!
and just for luls i’ll mention… one of the first days after i got back, the wind blew the top out of one of the trees and though it didn’t break the line it still tripped the transformer or whatever out in the yard and knocked out power to us so i had to caveman it for a while…
also, my plans had a whole new calendar introduced to them pretty much… i’ll be out in the woods at least till mid june then hopefully i’ll be able to go somewhere and settle in and find internets.
anywho, i’m out to go actually do the shopping i meant to, peace out

Spectatorwell, if i stay B.S.-EE, then i’m far from done, but if i go over to programming i may be very near done or already there. if nothing else i’d take a refresher for when i try some free-time endeavors on game engine construction
